Dr. David Rodriguez Quintana

A few years ago I went to another Dr. For developing hip issues since I knew I would probably need surgery (I am a nurse). He suggested I see Dr. Rodriguez-Quintana as he used am anterior approach in hip replacement, which has a faster patient recovery. Other options were initially explored but eventually I had one hip replaced. This went so well that when I needed the other replaced I wanted Dr. Rodriguez-Quintana to do it, even though I no longer lived in the Houston area requiring me to travel back there, and had it done a couple of weeks before writing this. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a an extremely competent orthopedic Surgeon who is up to date on the latest technological developments.

Unscheduled total hip replacement required, due to an accidental fall. The procedure was performed at MH in Katy over the Memorial Day weekend. The procedure was performed utilizing the anterior approach method, and was completed well within the typical expected time-frame, and without complication. Excellent surgical skills.

Dr. Rodriguez-Quintana is so caring and gentle. He is kind, listens, PATIENT, makes you feel like you are part of the solution and in collaboration with him and his cortisone shots in the knee don’t hurt. Great doctor!

Dr. Rodriguez Quintana has replaced both of my knees. I do not have enough good things to say about this doctor. He is very kind, considerate and knows his business. His physician’s assistant, Taylor Rubin is very compassionate and easy to talk to! I would recommend these two professionals to all my friends and family.

Great before surgery, however, after surgery, it appears that knew patients take priority. They are seen first, almost immediately upon arrival. Yet, as a post op patient, the wait has been extremely long in the waiting room. Same excuse as before. Physician assistant Rubin Taylor working by herself and she's backed up.

Fantastic Doctor. He obviously cares about his patients. Takes plenty of time to listen and then explain diagnosis and procedures. I highly recommend him!!

April 9th 2018 complete knee replacement surgery. Was sent to him by Dr. Paul Shupe at UT physicians. Can’t possible say enough about Dr David Rodriguez Quintana. A super professional, understanding, caring, helpful doctor. A wonderful bedside manner too. Good results on knee , no more pain or limping. Thank You Dr. Rodriguez.. Keep smiling..

Dr. Rodriguez Quintana and his physicians assistant, Taylor are phenomenal. The care, attention, and respect I was shown before, during, and after my procedure was simply top notch. Both were available to me via their personal cellular phones 7 days a week. Dr. Rodriquez not only operated on me when others wouldn’t, he gave me back the ability to walk.

I do not know if I can do justice for skill this doctor has. Had severe deformity in my knees with one requiring reconstruction of the bone. His work was so incredible that I was up and walking with only a cane in 3 1\2 weeks. Detailed, compassionate, unbelievable surgical skill and caring on top. If you are in need of an orthopedic surgeon I would highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez.

Great bedside manor. Discussed options for surgery answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns. Respectful and kind to my Mother. Great experience would highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez.

Terrible Judgement sending a paralyzed 81 year old patient home after a 2 night stay in hospital without making it an inpatient 3 night stay with Medicare coverage for a rehabilitation hospital stay necessary due to paralysis and inability to move knee or pressure on leg for 2 months

I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez-Quintana, he did several hip surgeries on my 89 year old mother. He was hands-down the best doctor I have come in contact with. He goes above and beyond the call of a doctor and really cares about his patients and their family members. He has a great personality and is an excellent surgeon.

He Has a natural ability to show that he cares about all his patients. Offers a conversative approach to get you back on your feet. Takes the time to communicate how each patient can take control of their health. Provides future options that may need to be addressed latter. Highly recommend this doctor!??????????

I was referred to Dr, Rodriguez in March of this year, 2017, by my orthopedic surgeon. They had discussed my case and came to the conclusion that after 2 previous surgery attempts to clear out an infection it just wouldn't go away. He took a look and after the infection cleared he did reconstructive surgery and I'm recovering now with no pain. Trusting in God can always bring you through and he sent me Dr. Rodriguez with hands of healing. Grateful R.G

Dr. Rodriguez has an incredible bedside manner. He is thorough, kind and genuinely cares for his patients. We forgot to setup a follow-up appointment and he's actually the one that reached out to us, himself, to remind us!

Dr. Rodriguez-Quintana performed surgery on me He is a wonderful surgeon. My results were excellent. His bedside manner and consideration for me as a patient are exceptional and made me feel very comfortable and reassured. He has kept me fully informed as to my prognosis, precautions and progress. He is very thorough and conscientious. I am extremely pleased with his care and surgical skills.

My Dad had knee replacement by another doctor. A year later he developed an infection in that knee. We were referred to Dr. David Rodriguez-Quintana. What a blessing. He is one of the best doctors I have ever used. His attention to detail is superb. He actually cares about his patients. You are not just another number! He was accessible and answered all our questions. When it's time for me to have a knee replaced he will be my doctor no question!
