I am a C four quadriplegic. I saw him for a stage three pressure sore. It rapidly turned to a stage four and made its way to the bone. It got severely an infected and he was still trying to treat it with a dakins solution. My primary care doctor ended up having to admit me to Northside Hospital, where I was treated with IV antibiotics. Throughout my weeklong stay I developed another stage two pressure sore, because the wound team had very little information about quadriplegics. Upon my release I was fitted with a wound vacuum. He did not think it was necessary so he removed it and it began to open up bigger and bigger again. Finally I ended up going to the Shepherd Center, where I was informed, that I should've had surgery right from the beginning. So here I am a year and a half later and two plastic surgeries I am finally making headway. Whether it was incompetence or a refusal to admit he was in over his head, save yourself some trouble and look elsewhere. Your life depends on it! I am a C four quadriplegic. I am a quadriplegic incomplete. I confirmed an appointment October 9 and informed Vanessa that I could not write so I would need help filling out the paperwork when I arrive. Because the only transportation I have is dial A Ride at Forsyth County resource I arrange to arrive 45 minutes early. I received a call October 11 two days before my appointment saying the office manager said they could not fill up my paperwork and I told them I have no family no friends here that can help me and since the four years I’ve been injured I have never felt more embarrassed and treated like a second-class citizen I i’m not a big deal sorry for me flag caring discriminated person but I do know when wrong is wrong so if you can just put this out there for others to see Dr. Swegman‘s Office Could care less about your disability! He is FANTASTIC. Did very good job of healing surgical wound and was patient and thorough and explained everything carefully along the way.

I have seen Dr. Schwegman several times at the hyperbaric facility at Kennestone in Marietta. He is knowledgeable, pleasant, shows concern for patient's health issues and doesn't rush through his exam.
