Dr. Dawne A Lowden

I would not recommend Dr Lowden. I came to her during my second pregnancy as a transfer at 30 weeks. My first visit we barely spoke, my second visit I went in with a few questions and my birth plan to review with her. The second I said I had a birth plan she looked annoyed, and answered my questions very rudely and sarcastically. (Ex: I said I wanted limited cervical exams and asked if there were other ways to check progression, to which she replied "well I don't have a crystal ball, so no..." with an annoyed look on her face) She did not make me feel heard in what I was wanting for my pregnancy and tried to instill fear in me with things I was choosing to decline. I did not return after that. That is not how a medical professional should act, especially to women trusting you in their lost vulnerable time.

I just absolutely love her! She was introduced to me when my life was literally in the line. She helped save me then and has been the best doc since!

I am thankful to Dr. Lowden & the team at Heartland! The receptionist put me at ease with her professional, welcoming manner. Dr. Lowden & her assistant, Misty, met my anxious/emotional state with empathy & knowledge. I left Heartland feeling heard & understood. I recommend Dr. Lowden & the Heartland staff for their compassion & viewing their clients as human beings.

I am so glad I found Dr. Lowden many years ago. She takes the time to talk to you and answer any questions you have.

I went to Dr. Lowden with my first pregnancy, so, as you can imagine, I was very unaware of a lot of things. She didn't take the time to explain a lot to me, she was very to herself and I left my appointments feelings really discouraged. I just didn't feel like she was in my corner which I was I absolutely needed as a first-time mom! I heard so many great things about her and was so disappointed with my experience. We have to put SO much trust into our doctors - you're about to walk me through the craziest experience of my life! I'm just honestly blown away by the positive reviews about her...it's like we were seeing two different people.

Dr. Lowden is a very approachable, warm, and professional physician. She will explain procedures and share her wisdom readily, which I find reassuring. I would recommend Dr. Dawne Lowden to anyone seeking OBGYN services. Thank you for providing such excellent care to me.

Dr. Lowden delivered our baby boy vis c section on April 16th. Throughout all of our appointments and during delivery, she was professional and courteous. She did a great job at answering our questions and reassuring us during times of “first time parent” anxiety. I would highly recommend her services and plan on using her myself for future deliveries!

I would recommend Dr. Lowden and her team to anyone! We met her 6 years ago when I had a miscarriage, she performed my D&C and was so knowledgeable and compassionate. She then delivered my daughter the next year and now we are under her care 5 years later for our current pregnancy!

I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Lowden. She listened to me & did not hurry me for the next patient : she had appropriate suggestions for a problem: she was approachable & friendly. In addition, her assistant, Misty, was another winner. Dr. was recommended by another doctor, whose opinion I value & who was 100% on.

I loved that she came in prior to the exam to talk about any issues. I didn’t feel awkward because I was still clothed. She actually asked me great questions and listened to my answers and concerns.

I have referred all of the ladies in my family to Dr. Lowden because I trust her, she is honest, friendly and professional, she will listen and make you feel in control of your own medical decisions. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a gynecologist to go see her!

I have been seeing Dr Lowden for about 20 years. I feel like family when I am in the office. Dr. Lowden knows what she is doing and is good at it. I have had 2 children with her and 3 surgeries. All have gone very well. Her nurse has been with her for 20 years as well so consistentsy is at its max. The PA, Amanda Twist, is just as great and very knowledgeable. The team is wonderful.

Dr. Lowdown is so very kind, listened attentively, works her best to get you in. I could not have asked for better. She has been amazing to me going through surgery and follow up.

Dr. Lowden is very nice and easy to talk to. I am in my 40's. I appreciated her honest and caring information regarding medical options that are safe and not safe. She also was very knowledgeable on what test are necessary and unnecessary. I appreciate that. I moved here from another state and have spent thousands on blood testing and a unsafe procedure that my previous doctor sold me on. I am grateful I chose Heartland and got Dr. Lowden.

DR. LOWDEN is very personable and interested in what the patient has to say. She answers all of your questions and puts the patient at ease.

I love her. She is like seeing a long lost friend!!! So comfortable. You don’t even know she is down there????

I instantly felt comfortable with Dr. Lowden. "She's going to take good care of me," was the thought that went through my mind. Dr. Lowden took time to listen to my history and asked questions to clarify. She was thorough as well as friendly and encouraging. She is an advocate for my well being.

I was referred to Dr. Lowden by my family physician. I shared that my former Ob-Gyn ignored my health concerns. Lab work proved that something was indeed going on. Dr. Lowden listened, ran a few tests and diagnosed my problem quickly. She explained what was going on and a few options to fix it. She was kind, caring and patient with me. Never pushy or demanding that I make a quick decision. She gave me time to decide on what was best for me. I trust her judgement. She’s a lifesaver!

I have been with Dr. Lowden for the past 11 years. I started with her during my second pregnancy after my former doctor retired. I have been very pleased with the care I have received from her and her staff. She delivered my son and has been with me through many gynecological challenges. Any concern or issue I have is taken seriously. I trust her opinion, her skills in the office and operating room.

I have had several OBGYNs over the years here in Wichita. The last couple of years I have seen Dr. Lowden and I really like her. She makes you feel at ease and not afraid to ask questions. She is sweet and down to earth!

Dr. Lowden is the best Gynecologist I have ever had. And I've had a few. I am 58 years old. She knows what's she's doing. She has a great bedside manner and has her patients best interest in mind. Her staff is friendly and helpful. The office is clean. I like that they have the office on the West side of town. I would refer her in a heartbeat!

Dr. Lowden did an excellent job on my surgery. I couldn't be more pleased. I believe if it wasn't for her doing robotic surgery I would have had serious bladder issues after my hysterectomy. Thank you Dr. Lowden for being one of the few doctors who use the Da Vinci surgery robot.
