I wish I had done better research. I was referred by someone that was fresh off the operating table. Dr Armstrong didn’t take any before pics. Worst decision I’ve made in life. Inconsistent care from her/her team. complications that have prolonged healing from her poor care. I’m left figuring out how to heal myself without any direction. Hideous scars, daily pain and mental agony.

Dr Armstrong was absolutely amazing, I believe I was one of her younger patients and she cared for me like I was her own. She made a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery so much easier, stress wise. I put so much trust in her through the process and she performed excellently. She is genuinely the kindest person I have met. I just had one of my final check ups, and she gave me a hug and just made me feel so comfortable. I recommend for anyone looking for reconstruction surgery.

Dr. Armstrong performed the reconstruction surgery of my right breast due to mastectomy. Additionally, she lifted the left breast to match. I look amazing and could not be happier!!! I owe it all to her, the wonderful nurses and the surgical team.

She so friendly and caring and she knows what she is doing. She is always their when I need her.

I feel mutulated and butchered. After reduction my breasts are 2 cup sizes in difference and HARD. My scars are bumpy, deep purple and jagged. So uncomfortable and after a couple years they’re still painful. I am devastated.

I had a horrific experience with breast reduction. I look like a freak now. Nipples and breasts are unbelievable different sizes, scarring is deep and jagged. After 2 years post surgery my breasts are hard and scars are still very painful.

I ruptured an implant in a fall. Dr. Armstrong did reconstruction, July 2017. Many complications, worst was left nipple died, I had an open hole in my breast until Thanksgiving, Nothing was explained. Why wait so long? She did a full mastectomy on the left side. When I took dressing off. I got so depressed. She reconstructed my left breast April 2018. I could not believe she thought that was acceptable. The inside was flat. It did not have a breast shape. I cried and cried at her office. She was done. I had paid her close to $10,000 and I looked awful. She did a 4th surgery (she paid for) and suctioned fat and inserted it into my breast, The results were my left breast was left 3 sizes smaller than the right and the left implant was in my armpit. I was under her care for over a year making weekly or biweekly visits. It was by the worst and wasted year of my life.

Dr. A was very professional, explained everything to me. Her personality is great and I felt very confident in her abilities and knowledge.

Dr. Armstrong went above and beyond! I appreciated her honesty and ability to approach my situation professionally and respectfully.She was very thorough explaining the different situations and possibilities that may present when removing and redoing a 2nd reconstructive surgery. I not only feel so much better but am amazed at what she was able to accomplish! My loved ones want to thank her for making me not only feel better but also look so much better. I will always be grateful to her for taking the time to listen to me but also do what was best for me! She is an amazing Dr!

Research this doctor before trusting!

Dr Armstrong is always on time and courteous. She gives you realistic goals, and does not promote lying to get a client.

Dr. Armstrong made me feel very comfortable and answered every single question I had. I tested BRCA2+ and was very over whelmed with all of the information that was thrown at me. She was patient, kind, and very caring when it came to time for surgery and recovery! I highly recommend her.

Horrible Nightmare in 2005! Lied about doing a breast lift and stuffed implants in when I didn’t need them. Then called me into her office a couple weeks later and in her office cut nipples and moved up on breasts and stitched up! Looked absolutely horrendous and had to go to a different plastic surgeon to remove implants and actually do a breast lift. The surgeon who fixed everything couldn’t believe what she did. I asked for her fee to be reimbursed back to me because of this terrible experience!

Today I had my fourth surgery with Dr. Armstrong after having breast cancer last year. I am so thankful and happy! I am convinced that she is the best there it is!

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Armstrong. Very rude after initial visit. Made me feel dumb for asking follow-up questions after my surgery. Office staff very unfriendly and I was left with a hospital bill that was over $20,000 that should have been covered had they called my insurance and preauthorized the procedure.

Would NEVER recommend her!!!!! Because of her I can never have implants again and have two permanent dents where the implants were. I had a double nipple sparing prophylactic mastectomy with expanders placed. She filled them too quickly and I ultimately ended up with a chest wall deformity under each implant! Due to this I can never have breasts because the weight of implants would make the chest wall deformities worse and cause more shortness of breath. I'm deformed now since I was 22-23.

I had a tummy tuck and hernia repaired after losing much weight. Dr. Armstrong did the tummy tuck but left me with "dog ears". These are fat pads on the outer edges of my hips. They never did go down and I'm now consulting another surgeon to correct what should not have been left behind.

Dr. Armstrong was phenomenal from my first appointment through the personal phone call she made following surgery. I visited with previous plastic surgeons and she came highly recommended and I was not disappointed.

I would never recommend Dr. Armstrong. Because of her, I need 3 other surgeries to correct her work.

Dr. Armstrong is a strong, confident, and capable plastic surgeon who treated me with dignity and respect during my reconstruction post-mastectomy. I prefer her Lakeside office to the one at the Immanuel campus because her staff at Lakeside are more pleasant to the patients. My reviews below about the office and the staff are for the Lakeside location. The staff at Immanuel campus act more like you are a bother to them then the source of their pay check. Without patients, there is no job..

I found out she created a 'condition' during my procedure that resulted in her charging my insurance company just over $17,000.00 extra during a $4,000.00 procedure. It was COMPLETELY unnecessary and did not affect my condition at all. I only found out about the extra charges by scrutinizing my health insurance paperwork. Dr Armstrong played it down with a mere mention to me. She did ok work but I will NEVER use her again nor recommend her.

I would highly recommend Dr Armstrong . I was referred to Dr Armstrong for breast reconstruction from my breast surgeon. She has done an excellent job. I will continue to refer my friends, co-workers and family for her excellent work.
