Dr. Deborah Gruen

Dr. Gruen is the most professional, helpful, and kind therapist I have ever worked with. She worked with my family 20 years before I came to her independently and she was just an impressive then as she is now. She is much more than just a good listener, but rather a proactive participant in your journey or recovery. She is also available whenever you need her. She is also NOT money hungry and charges a fair rate based off her services. I pay $250 out of pocket twice a month and it's the best investment I've made to date.

Dr. Gruen permits child abuse and lacks integrity. She does not report abuse as a mandated reporter and is in it for the money. Do not use this woman.

I saw Dr. Gruen about 20 years ago and thought she was helpful. More recently in 2020 I tried to arrange teletherapy from Newton, MA after my father's death during COVID. The exchange was 100% transaction. As soon as I got her my financial information, rather than schedule an apt. she suddenly "remembered" she was not licensed to practice in MA. Since I had known her from previous therapy, it was a bit odd she never even expressed any sympathy about my father. I gather as we all do, she has changed a lot.

Dr. Gruen is a true professional. I saw her with my children for five months and she is ethical and honest which is not always the case in this professional. It isn't just a job she truly cares about others. I will always be grateful for the time spent with her and will never forget her advice which helped me through the most difficult time in my life. I highly recommend her.

Deborah is highly dishonest and unethical. Do not hire this woman as a GAL or a "therapist". She should not be practicing. My situation is one of definitive malpractice. She is in it for the money. Do NOT trust her. She will try to double the sessions. Do not even book the consultation!

Dishonest. Vindictive. Inept.
