Simply Outstanding Family Practitioner. Best Doctor in my 58 years. Everyone in my family goes to her. All my Siblings & their families, my Parents and most of my Friends. I almost did not leave this review. Like a Great Fishing Spot, tempted to keep this one to myself. Tell one person and you can never get in yourself.

Deborah Haines D.O. in Altoona is the most wonderful family practitioner I've ever had. Shes been my family Dr. for 20 years; I'm 64 years old & have had 6 other Drs during my life.

She is a good thorough doc.

Deb was my family doc until I went to college. I recently started seeing her again, and it hasn't been good. I had a chronic, undiagnosed illness/disorder (recently diagnosed as Selective IgA Deficiency & Fibromyalgia by a different doc). She referred me to a "specialist" with an appt. wait time of 4 MONTHS. He was horrible. During those 4 months, she told me that I basically just had to wait it out. Every appt. w/her feels rushed and as though I'm bothering her. There's more but it wan't fit.

I had to change my doctor because my insurance coverage changed.And had been in an accident last year. A local RN who did a massage found a problem so a medical report was sent and nothing was done. Ended up in our local ER and at my old clinic here in town who sent me to a chiropractor who is correcting the problem.

Dr. Haines is great! She is kind, listens, and knows what she's doing! I live on the other side of DSM now, and still drive there just to see her. She's worth it! :)
