Dr. Balos is amazing! She will sit down with you and genuinely listen to your concerns. She will go the extra mile to make sure you feel better.

Dr Balos is great, but do not ever expect ANYONE to answer the phone, so basically you can’t ever talk to anyone or schedule an appointment. If somebody does pick up the phone they immediately put you on hold and never pick up again. I’ve been on hold for 2 hours trying to schedule an appointment.

My entire family LOVES Dr. Balos!!!! I like that she doesn’t immediately turn to drugs to treat certain things. She is BRILLIANT with my kids; she puts their nerves at ease right away and has them smiling on the way out when they came in upset. Dr Balos has always been very caring and kind doctor to work with. She listens and does not rush my appointment. My wife and I have been seeing her for several years and are very pleased with our care from her.

Told me "I dont think you are depressed, just need more anxiety medication." I will never go back to this doctor. Terrible bedside manor. Find someone else.

Just had my first with with Dr. Balos and she is absolutely amazing. She listened and genuinely cared about what I was telling her. Very knowledgeable and I look forward to future appointments!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Balos for 3+ years. She is not an auto-doc. She listens and is open to conversation about your health. She is warm and genuine. Definitely not just a pill pusher (like my previous doc).

Shes wonderful!

I would highly recommend Dr.Balos. She is very present with me and listens to my concerns. Her feed bake is clear and she offers insights and suggestions that I find are intelligent and informed. She made a call from an intuitive feeling & previous similar experiences, to send my husband to the E R as his EKG looked off. He had a 98% blocked LAD artery, and and additional blockage... my feeling & my husbands is that her choice saved him a greater medical event & possibly his life. ????

I am an RN and am extremely selective about my health care providers. I have been with Dr. Balos for several years and am very pleased. She is intelligent, compassionate and caring. She saved my life more than once. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful physician. You can communicate and schedule appointments on the web page... a huge bonus. The entire staff is great.

I happily recommend Dr. Balos to my friends and wish I could get my husband to switch to her. She is a great listener and is interested in treating the whole person, not just your symptoms. She is encouraging and responsive to concerns. She is not a prescription pusher and never seems to be in a hurry to leave the room.

Missed a life changing diagnosis from a kidney disease and instead berated me like it was something I was doing wrong. It wasn't me, she wasn't able to put my history together well enough to realize it was something wrong with my kidneys. She seems more interested in impressing people with the way she dresses than actually being a good, kind caring doctor.

I find Dr. Balos to be an excellent physician. She was able to diagnose me with Diabetes and has successfully helped to get it under control. She is a wonderful listener and always provides her patients with solutions or alternative solutions to their problems. I recommend her very highly!

The worst doctor I have ever seen. She may listen to you but does not gives you satisfying answers. And something " it's not my field, You can hear as well". It looks like she is not knowledgeable enough, she does not explain conditions. From family physician I expecting a bit more, than just listening. Poor communication, may be wrong with diagnosis. And forget about preventative care. She doesn't care, it just a business for her. The worst doctor I have ever seen. She may listen to you but does not gives you satisfying answers. great doctor

I would not recommend Dr. Balos to anybody. She provides poor service, not knowledgeable enough, never gives satisfying answers and spend not enough time with a patient. She doesn't explain well a condition and provides no preventative care. Sometimes it seems like she doesn't wish you to be there. Be aware of saying or asking something she doesn't like or not recommend, you can get a mail, that she doesn't want to be your provider anymore))). I think she shouldn't be a part of IU health.

Dr. Balos is an excellent listener. She actually reads the chart and is knowledgeable about you before she enters the exam room. She gives you her full attention, instead of paying more attention to the laptop than to the patient, as is the practice of most physicians. Dr. Balos is very caring and knowledgeable, and treats you as a person--not as a number. Outstanding customer service.

My husband first saw Dr. Balos when we moved to Zionsville and were looking for a new HCP. I soon after saw her before my first child was born. We immediately decided to make Dr. Balos and her nurse Regina the primary healthcare providers for our family. My son never needed to see a pediatrician and I love the fact that my entire family sees Dr. Balos for our medical needs. Its great they have complete health history of our family and they always work us in when we need help. Highly recommend!
