Highly impressed with the quick, professional, care provided by Dr. Chowdhry, his nurse, and his staff. Great bedside manner, knowledge of my problem, and a possible solution to my problem. I felt completely comfortable, and put at ease the moment I arrived.

DR C has always went above and beyond for my care. Even when things had changed he even sent me to another more extreme specialist instead of wasting time. His office staff have always helped me and were friendly.

My wife and I had such an excellent experience recently by Dr. Chowdhary and his staff. He was so caring, compassionate, & went the extra mile with his expertise to make sure we got the results right. We felt very important to him and not just another case to get thru. He was genuine and personal with his follow up with testing results. I cannot thank him enough for his dedicated attention and character. Terrible experience as a first time patient. In for exam and consult and the Dr. was in and out in less than three minutes. Attitude was cold and tense. Never smiled once. More importantly he ordered a test for me without explaining what it was and I later determined that the test was unnecessary. Not satisfied

A wonderful and caring Gastroenterologist!!

Dr. Chowdhary is a thoughtful, caring gastroenterologist! He has taken wonderful care of me and sent me to MUSC when we reached a point where he felt he coudln't anymore. Excellent care

He is partners with Dr John Wolford. That should be reason enough to avoid him, his partner is criminally incompetent!!! Not to mention their office is run with NO oversight or supervision from McLeod. They misread basic tests results that are already spelled out for them! Imagine seeing a doctor at McLeod Gastro and going for a test at McLeod Hospital. And then, when the independent radiologist who is not associated directly with McLeod Gastro writes ion his report in very plain English, the staff at McLeod Gastro misreads it and tells you the exact opposite of what the results show! In my case, I was told that my gallbladder test results (HIDA scam) were so bad that I needed to see a surgeon the next day! But when I got to the surgeon, he and his staff showed me the results that my gallbladder is at 3x+ the surgery threshold!!!! McLeod Gastro and McLeod Health have no oversight or accountability. They just want money, money, money and don’t care about incompetent doctors or staff!!! He is partners with Dr John Wolford. I have to say, I love Dr. Chowdhary. I had my gallbladder removed in September of 2012, and had to cut back eating alot but still had to go to the restroom a lot. It got worse in 2016 everything I ate and drunk would come out, I lost 10 pounds in 1 week and was getting very dehydrated. I finally went to Dr. Chowdhary and he did the procedure to see what was going on in my stomach and worked a miracle. The medicine I am on allows me to eat anything. Please go to Dr. Chowdhary, he's the best.

We got off to a rocky start because we did not feel that the doctor was listening or responding to our concerns about my daughter's care. We have recently met with Dr. Chowdhary and discussed our concerns and currently feel better about our choices. He now understands how and why I came to my previous opinion of his level of care. We are now hopeful and optimistic about our future with Dr. Chowdhary and look forward to developing a new and trusted doctor/patient relationship.

I was so impressed with the way he handled my husband's colon cancer that I would not go to anyone else when it came time to diagnose my problems. Walt's colonoscopy biopsy showed he needed surgery asap. Dr. Chowdhary left for vacation the day the biopsy came in. He called from the airport, clearly uncomfortable breaking this news on the phone, but also felt this was something which should not wait. Our PCP then took the lead and ordered the pre-op tests for surgeon. We are grateful patients.

My experience with Dr Chowdhary was as smooth as butter! He was very good to explain the results of my study immediately following. Furthermore, he came highly recommended by some of the staff who work alongside him, and is highly respected by them. There is no better reference than that! Consequently, I highly recommend him as well!

Dr. Chowdhary was very helpful and professional. He reviewed my scans and told me I needed to have an EGD. I was quickly scheduled for my test and had it within two weeks of my initial consult. After the test he gave me a very detailed explanation and had already consulted a colleague for the eventual surgery I needed to fix the problem. After I went to another hospital to receive specialized care he continued to check on me and my progress. I am extremely grateful for his help.
