It was remarkable to get a same-day appointment and everything was on time and super efficient, without feeling rushed or overlooked. The check in process was smooth even though one attendant was in training, and friendly and calming. I got a couple of X-rays in minutes and then Dr Routhier was in the exam room almost immediately. She had fully digested the notes and knew just where to start with her additional questions and an ultrasound of my knee. She explained what she was looking for, and why things looked good vs. a more serious injury, and answered my questions about caring for the injury and what to look for. We were in and out of the facility in one hour almost on the dot including check in, insurance questions, X-rays, ultrasound and exam. Unheard of! All around this was a superior healthcare visit and experience to anything I’ve ever seen. Keep up the excellent work! Dr. Routhier was kind and attentive. She asked pertinent questions, answered my questions and gave me the information I needed to help me back to 100% health.

She’s listening to every detail that’s wrong and I like that. She also is helping my right knee knee recover it has been hurting for quite some time now.so we are trying physical therapy first, then go from there. Thank you Dr. Routhier thank you

Dr. Routhier has been very helpful dealing with my recent knee problem. She is very thorough and my interactions with her have always been pleasant and productive. I highly recommend her!! Having been to Slocum a number of times over the years, I have found that everyone is helpful and pleasant. Medical care is first rate. Doctors take the time to listen, conduct complete exams, and provide helpful courses of treatment. Dr. Denise Routhier is a wonderful, kind, caring physician who has the highest of medical skills and professionalism. Dr. Routhier deals with nonsurgical issues of the lower parts of the body ( legs, feet, knees) and always exhibits compassion along with presenting options for treatment to her patients. I have been seeing Dr Routhier for over 10 years for osteoarthritis in hip as well as torn meniscus in both knees as well as neuroma in ball of foot. I can only praise her medical expertise as well as her ability to efficiently give me injections to alleviate discomfort while at the same time making me feel like I matter as a human. I had an injection on my right foot this morning and this was a really easy appointment! Dr. Routhier’s technique was painless, the cortisone going in was virtually painless (99%) and extremely quick. I probably made it hurt the 1% by being anxious about it. ???? Dr. Routhiere listens, thinks, and offers her best. We really like her. She found a loose screw in Norma's heal. She wrote a prescription for a topical pain treatment from an apothecary. She referred us to Dr. Jackson if we need further evaluation. All new and helpful directions. Great experience.

Entire staff from the minute I walked in the door were welcoming, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. All wait time were on the short side. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Also, didn’t jump the gun and try to begin with surgery. We might get there in a few years but we’re trying other options for now. Very happy!

I love Dr. Routhier. She is personable, takes time to hear your concerns. She is very knowledgeable and I trust her with my joint care. She's treated me for several years and I highly recommend her.

Today I saw Dr. Routhier for the second time, new issue. She was as great as I remembered: listened carefully, shared humor, assessed my foot issue, and proposed a treatment plan, again attentive to my perspective. Definitely recommend Dr. Routhier highly!

I was 45 minutes late and they still took me in for my appointment. I had some MRIs done from another clinic and Dr. Routhier spent extra time going over the results with me. Everyone in the office was very pleasant. Great office visit.

Dr. Routhier is an excellent physician. Very professional but friendly and has great technical competence, especially when it comes to giving knee injections. And she has that rare quality among doctors, she really listens and does not rush through the appointment. She gets my highest recommendation and is a real credit to Slocum.

I've been seeing Dr Routhier since 2015 for synvisc type shots to knees. I am a fan of hers. She is kind, thorough, efficient. I look forward to seeing her every six months for my shots!

Dr Routhier does an excellent job of answering my questions. She explains things in such a way that I can clearly understand. She is professional, yet down to earth, and a pleasure to speak with (and her assistant is great also). Dr Routhier has made a big difference in managing the arthritic pain in both of my feet.
