Do not use him. Very shady and the billing is criminal. I have filed a complaint.

Dr Sorresso….READ YOUR REVIEWS! Your office staff in your Main St. office are doing you a terrible disservice! Totally unprofessional. They use your office as their own air conditioned lounge, no real care or attention to the patients. I ended up going to UF Health services because of the poor staff treatment there.

Office staff at Main street clinic are AWFUL. Initially acted sweet and caring, but I was quickly ignored and treated rudely after my payment went thru... subsequent calls are ignored and I bet Dr. Sorresso doesn't even know I've tried to reach out to him four times. The staff there made me feel like I'm the only white guy at a BLM rally. Thanks for nothing.

Awful staff at Main St. Clinic. Take your money then ignore you. Smile to your face when first get there, but God forbid you've got any follow up questions or problems. Simply an awful experience dealing with the staff. Read similar reviews at 'healthgrades'.

Dr Sorresso, Is a very good Dr, I am not judging a dr because of office staff.

Called their office because the machine was broke and the receptionist made me feel as if I was interrupting her day. She was not empathetic or courteous.

Avoid Dr. Sorresso at all costs unless you enjoy condescending, creepy, and possibly mysogynistic doctors. He walked in and before I even said one word said that my sleep issues were most likely anxiety driven and did I have a psychiatrist? I was dumbfounded. He did agree to do sleep testing for me, then barely went over the results, had an incorrect diagnosis in my folder and didn't care or bother to correct it, and, he again recommended anxiety medication and a psychiatrist. Absolutely shocking and disgusting. I get the feeling he sees a middle aged woman and already has his mind made up about the diagnosis and quite frankly is unable to hide his condescension. Almost all of his staff is female, and man do I feel sorry for them. I couldn't get out of his office fast enough, and I will NEVER go back and recommend that everyone else avoids this doctor if at all possible. I understand with insurance though, that is not always the case, which is why I had chosen him in the first place.

Terrible service - steer clear as they will not return calls (message says leave a text as the voice mail fill up). I'm changing doctors for my sleep issues! Does NOT rate a star - should be negative stars.

I have seen Dr. Sorresso for COPD. He has no answering service and his "receptionist" is a lady with a cell phone. He only has office hours 1 day per week in Starke. Other than that he does sleep studies in Jacksonville and there is no way to contact him since he does not have an office. I would not recommend him, simply for the fact that he does not respond to request for refills and for appointments.

Very tuned to my needs and knowledgeable of all issues and equipment in sleep issues. On time and perfect follow through.

I LOVED this person. He is very compassionate, listens to you, and RESPONDS appropriately. I am an old black female medical doctor, it is rare to find this in the younger generation. God Bless him. Note: I did not know him prior and have no affiliation with him.

He has tried twice to collect for services not rendered - even going so far as to have a collection agency make a negative report to my credit record. I see that I am not alone in terms of having problems with this physician. Perhaps it is time to report him to the Florida Board of Medicine.

Threatened a $75 charge if I was late or missed the appt. Called twice to ensure my forms were filled out. Doctor was 45 minutes late, more forms on arrival. Sleep rooms appeared overused and dingy. Receptionist was rude. Spent time talking to other techs about her Candadian vacation, but then was abrupt with all patiients. Ended up not returning my driver's license. Called me 5 hours later to let me know I had to return to pick it up, while my credit reporting was triggering notifications

He is a wonderful MD., kind and very knowledgeable. He helped me tremendously with sleep issues. I'm a nurse and recommend him to all.

He is a great Doctor. If not for him I would be getting my medicine and I am forever grateful that he has helped me out.

Very thorough exam. Took me off medications that proved unnecessary. Wonderful person makes you feel that your care is important. Drove a little extra distance to see him but it was well worth it. Highly recommend.

I have never regretted being cared for by any physician except Dr. Sorresso. The entire time I spent in his office I have never been so uncomfortable. He made me feel like I was wasting his time. I came to him with what I felt was a legitimate concern. While in his office I felt like I was being talked down to despite being a well educated person. That was just the beginning. His billing is handled (@ the time anyways) by one woman with a cell phone somewhere in south Florida. They billed my insurance incorrectly and I wasn't aware until it was too late to do something about it. I will never recommend him to anyone. Instead, I tell people my experience and they decide to seek treatment elsewhere.
