Dr. Derick Alan Ball

Dr.Ball lacks basic comprehension skills and doesn’t let patient talk at all. Very sassy, full of attitude, over-tanned little man. Good luck to all my POC, he especially can’t stand us and if you’re a woman who’s taller than him he already is gonna be rude to you just for existing in the body he wished was his!

Doctor was fine, they told me insoles were covered by insurance and then i received a 350 dollar bill later.... so not super trustworthy or aware of how the insurance works. one or the other.

Dr. Ball is nice, very friendly, and seems to be caring, but my experience at his office has not been very pleasant; when I went for consultation the first time he diagnosed me with plantar fasciitis right away and prescribed shoe insoles, they took impressions of my feet, and gave me a 3 week follow up appointment to get he insoles. I got to his office 1 hr ahead of time to my second appointment, because I had to go to work, that 2nd visit they made me Wait 1hr after my scheduled time, plus when I went into the consultation room they told me my insoles were not ready (I think they never sent the feet impressions to the laboratory) they told me they will be calling me as soon as they got the insoles, a month has passed, I’m still waiting for their call. I called the office, left a message because all I got was a voicemail. I feel frustrated at this point, about two moths have passed, I’m still waiting, they haven’t called me, and to go to an appointment I have to ask for time off to my employer, so it’s a burden when they make me go to an appointment knowing the orthotics are not ready yet. I’m very unhappy about that. Staff was great! Dr ball healed me. Hopefully I don’t get a reoccurrence. One just has to be patient for 6 months - a year to be able to see the full healing and the end result. A busy doctor can’t always give you the attention you need but it’s a good sign when a doctor has been in business for so long and has many patients seeking his help. Thank you. Staff was great!
