Dr Mitz is the best!

I looked at his other reviews and it explains Mitz to a tee. He's been taking care of my orthopedic issues for over a decade. I've had shoulders repaired and later replaced. He compassionate, explains everything well and I never have felt rushed when he's in an appointment with me. I trust him, it's difficult to find a Dr that cares as he does about his patients. His support staff is awesome. The front desk staff in Pekin is also amazing!

I like being able to talk to my doctor and doctor mitzelfelt is a down to earth doctor he will take time to understand what your concerns are he put my right femur back together twice and now it is almost pain free I would highly recommend doctor metzelfelt to anyone who is looking for a great orthopedic surgeon. I have Dr. Mitz on a pedestal! I've seen him for many problems through many years. He has never failed to be effective in solving my problems i.e. shoulder joint replacement,sore knees and hips. But more than that, he didn't soft-pedal things. He was brutally honest with me when I was slacking on my home therapy. I have a friend who severely broke a shoulder and hip in the same fall. She can't stop bragging about him as well

I have been under Dr. Mitzelfelt's care more than once. He is the most informative doctor with an amazing bed side manner. Reminds me so much of his Father who was my medical doctor when I was a little girl. I would highly recommend him for anyone who requires Orthopedic care. He is the best of the best!!

Nest dr ever. He is my saving grace doctor. Long story but he knows why i call him my saving grace doctor.
