Dr. Hecht is a terrible doctor. I would never recommend him anyone. He's non-communicative with patients/families after surgery, so you're left to wonder to what extent he was able to blast/remove stone. Did not talk to anyone in the family after surgery, did not round on my father, did not see him at all after the surgery and had the house doctor discharge him without checking him out himself. Did not contact family despite multiple efforts to speak with him. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS.

I have been seeing Dr Hecht for more than thirty years. He is truly a "TOP DOC" in my opinion. Had a couple of surgeries performed by him and I am grateful for his expertise in making my life so much better.
