Dr. Bridges is very compassionate and truly cares for his patients. His work doesn't go unnoticed. He enjoys connecting with his patients by being able to thoroughly explain procedures and how the body works. My mom has been going to him since 2015 and has never been a day she is unsatisfied with his care.

On Feb 16, 2021, I was awakened by tinnitus and a rapidly rising heart rate. By the time I got dressed and was heading to the hospital, my heart rate had gotten up to 140 bpm. For the next 10 weeks I saw cardiologist, electrophysiologist, internal medicine specialist, I was hospitalized, I had gone to emergency or urgent care 4 times, I had unnecessary hospital procedures done, like an angiogram, and echocardiogram. I was told that I had sleep apnea or that I stressed. I did a sleep study. I didn’t have sleep apnea. I was told that every test that was done indicated that I did have a heart problem. No one could tell me way I had tachycardia and kept trying to tell me that it was all in my head, as if I was making it up, even though they could measure the high heart rate. Dr. Bridges was the only doctor who really listened to me and came up with tests to identify why I had developed tachycardia. He was able to identify a hormone issue and now we are on the road to treatment.

I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and was given 3 options to deal with the condition: Take daily drugs for the rest of my life, take an "as needed" tablet whenever I have symptoms, or receive surgery. Dr. Bridges preformed an Atrial Fibrillation Ablation on me as was recommended by him and several other highly regarded cardiologists and electrophysiologists. After about 3 months of recovery and further prodding from my cardiologist and Dr. Bridges, it was concluded that the Afib was completely cured. It's hard to put into words what a giant relief it is knowing that I won't have to worry about a potentially life threatening heart condition well into my adult life, and possibly ever. I can't comment on Dr. Bridges' history, but I can certainly tell you that he has done an excellent job taking care of me, and is highly regarded by his peers, specifically by my Dad's electrophysiologist Dr. Shephal Doshi, who is possibly the best in his field. The only bit of criticism I can add is that Dr. Bridges' schedule is insane, so, you may end up spending a lot of time in his offices waiting to see him, but all the times he's ever kept me waiting was because he was in the Emergency Room helping to save someone's life from a heart attack or similar problem. To me, this is a small price to pay, and one I would easily accept again. Good luck to anyone dealing heart related issues. Dr. Bridges saved my life. Three specialist did not know what my problem was. Diagnosed after first test. Ten years later, I am telling you that he corrected the problem, I feel fine, and he is the best. Hardworking, pleasant staff and physician.

Dr. Duane E. Bridges implanted a two lead ICD in 2015 and a week ago one with three leads. My post procedure experience in both instances has been excellent. Neither time did I need to take a single analgesic. His knowledge and experience are very good! More importantly his skill is above reproach. I highly recommend him without any reservations.

I owe my health and life to Dr. Bridges who accurately diagnosed my a-fib and performed a catheter ablation on me. He and his staff are the most genuine and caring team and Dr. Bridges is a top-notch, skillful electrophysiologist who takes plenty of time to explain your condition and treatment options available. He is a Godsend!

Br. Bridges performed an Atrial Fibrillation Ablation on me. After 3 months of recovery (and much poking and prodding by, both, my cardiologist and Dr. Bridges) there was no longer any sign of the Afib. It's hard to express what a relief it was to not have to worry about a potentially life threatening condition for the rest of my adult life, and possibly ever. There were some longer than average wait times, but it was a small price to pay given the final result. It is my understanding that because Dr. Bridges is in such high demand, he sometimes has to deal with emergencies like heart attacks and other life threatening conditions. As a result, sometimes you get to sit on your phone for extended periods of time as you wait for him, but honestly, if I had to weigh saving a persons life over my personal convenience, it's an easy choice to make.

This doctor restricted me from flying and driving to monitor me for 30 days and perform additional tests. I lost hundreds of dollars for a prepaid trip. But my health comes first of course. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. My primary doctor never received a report for my visit. I called to follow up two weeks later and their operator said that my authorizations were pending and it wouldn't help to call and follow up. After further research I found out that Duane E Bridges never ordered any tests and refused to return my calls, my doctors calls, or my medical group's calls. It's been a month. Now I'm having to get another doctor entirely and go through this whole process over again. If I could get ahold of this doctor I would tell him that he made me feel worse. Always thourogh, does a great job explaining and walking you through the process. Although a little hard to get a hold of.

I met Dr. Bridges while I was in ICU at Centinella Hospital recently. I was having serious medical issues that could not be explained. Dr. Bridges was asked to see me and help the team of medical professionals working with me to understand what was happening to me. He did just so. Once he diagnosed my problem, he intervened and treated me IMMEDIATELY! First, he addressed each concern that I had and consulted with my family, Pastor, other health care professionals until he made sure I understood what was happening and why. He even took the time to address my religious and spiritual concerns about having surgery...who does that? No doubt, he saved my life. No doubt people. Nothing is perfect. Insurance and practice politics do not make a physician. As far as I am concerned he went above the call to take care of me and my loved ones. I am his forever grateful patient. Dr. Bridges and his staff made a lasting, life long impression! I was referred to Dr. Bridges, from my cardiologist because my ECG reading was showing intermittent conduction issues. Being that I'm young in decent health, my cardiologist wasn't concerned, but he did need a conduction specialist to assist with the understanding of why my heart was reacting as so. Upon seeing Dr. Bridges, he took immediate care and compassion towards my story and made me feel like family. He treated me with the utmost care and urgency even though he had a very full schedule (like all good physicians). Dr. Bridges made me feel at ease within our first few minutes of talking as he had a pretty good idea of the pathophysiology of my abnormal conduction rhythms. The follow up tests proved his theory correct, allowing me to continue my pursuit in the fire service. I thank Dr. Bridges, his staff, and my cardiologist every minute for the peace of mind and knowledge they have brought. Thank you so much

I had atrial flutters. I am now back to exercising like I did two years ago before the flutters. I woke up from my procedure to stop and restart my heart and went home in a few hours. No cuts, no side effects...not even drowsy from medication. One pump from a defibrillator and I was recharged! Blessed. He is Awesome.

Dr. Bridges took care of my mother in law. She passed out in NY and came to LA to see Dr. Brudges who took the time to talk to all of us and explain what the problem was and what his recommendation was. We agreed to get the implant with him and her life completely changed. And yes, he did not show up to one appointment and was late for a couple more but totally worth it, he is one of the best Doctors in the country and clearly one of the few with the lowest complication rates. Dr Bridges is a sweetheart, he cares about people. He saved my mother in law.

He never completed the surgery and now we have been waiting six months to get an appointment with him. We sat in the doctors office for two hours before we were told he had an emergency an would not be showing up. We have have had three cancelled office visits and now two cancelled surgery dates. I'm calling the insurance company to complain and find another doctor.

I hate this doctor! He placed a pacemaker in my child, less than a year later the wires from the pacemaker was embedded in my child chest.. We called several times to Dr. Bridge's office only to be told that since we don't have insurance he refused to see us.. My child was experiencing dizziness and shortness of breath and I needed to know more information on what was placed in my child's chest, so I said that I would pay the office fee and was given an appointment. We sat in this doctors reception area for 2 hrs! And then sat in the doctors office for another 30 mins just to be told that the pacemaker was off! Stupid doc, I knew this!! But why was the wires disconnected and embedded in my childs chest?! Please, please people!! Do your research before visiting any doctor, any and all medication that is given to you and any object that is being placed in your body because these doctors today are so useless and are definitely in these pharmaceutical companies pockets!! Start will low dosages of medication!! And note, these doctors are just practicing medicine on patients! They don't care about patients care.. I hate this doctor!
