Ms. Edith W Johnson

I have been seeing Edith for almost a year and she has helped me work through a lot of trauma from my childhood and deal with current issues with a toxic family member. I am Christian and so is she. I appreciate that she is respectful of my religion. She has helped me process traumatic memories which has left me feeling lighter, and more able to handle current stresses I'm under without going back to unhealthy though patterns.

Wow. Edith changed my life. She helped me to look at my trauma, identify the lies from it that I was operating in that was causing severe depression, used emdr to help me articulate the abuse I couldn’t really even talk about and get over the deep emotional fallout of those specific traumas, and helped me get to a place of more peace inside than I even could expect. Edith’s empathy and compassion soothed my bruised heart. I cannot more highly recommend anyone than Edith. She is amazing!

Edith is an excellent therapist and counselor who treats you with the highest care and ethic. I have received her help as counselor when going through hard times during my post-graduate studies at Cornell University and beyond. My husband and I also went through premarital counseling. The tools Edith used and the way in which she counseled us had a profound impact to this day. We have a healthier view of each other and of common issues couples face, such as finances.
