Dr. West is a wonderful doctor. He is knowledgeable, thorough, insightful, patient and reassuring -- everything one wants from a doctor. He listens carefully, asks the right questions, takes his time to get to know his patients. My husband and I feel extremely fortunate to have had Dr. West as our physician -- first at the Seaport Clinic, lately at Hartford Health Care in Pawcatuck -- for several years now, since moving to Mystic from South Florida. He is a wise and caring doctor.

Stay away from this place!!! Doctor and staff are very rude and fight with insurance company. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!

I have a plethora of health issues and travel to Connecticut in the Summers. I have unfortunately had a great deal of experience with doctors from Moffitt to Smilow. I find Dr. West professional, thorough, articulate, medically current with practice standards and guidelines packaged in a charming and concise demeanor. I would highly recommend Dr. West, I feel blessed to have him as part of my medical care team.

We have been using Dr. West as our Primary Care Doctor since 2000 and we are very happy with him, He has a wonderful sense of humor and, has taken excellent care of us.

Dr West is lovely and a fine doctor. Takes his time, gentle, extremely thorough and intelligent. His front desk crew are women that were turned away from the DMV and correctional system for being too ornery. They give you rude looks on entering, snide remarks and speak to one another about you as if you're not in the room.

I am in my 60s and have had Dr West as my PC Dr for approx 10 years. Dr West is an outstanding physician and spends the time to diagnose accurately and treat accordingly. He is not a "hand holder" and tells it like it is and I like that. I feel fortunate to be under his care.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr. West was incredibly rude and mean in a recent follow up visit for neck pain. His medical opinion and bedside manner are the worst I've experienced as a patient.
