My daughter was misdiagnosed twice at the pediatricians and once at the ER. Dr. Hilal is the only one, after 2 weeks of her being in excruciating pain who was able to cure her. This man is an angel. The second he walked in the room I knew everything was going to be OK!

Dr. Hilal performed very potentially schwannoma surgery on me in May 2009. The tumor was located on a nerve in my neck and was large enough to usually cause significant damage to the nerve leading up to my facial area. I came out of the surgery with a very, very slight droop to the eyelid of my right eye.

He did a great job explaining the procedure and answering my questions. Before and after my surgery i am glad he was my doctor.

He does surgery he is not competant to perform. Had to go to Cleveland Clinic to have another surgery to fix what he did wrong. The most horrible experience in my life.

I dawn Dr Hilal when he was at UPMC Mercy and was pretty happy with him as an ENT. He has since moved to Allegheny General Hospital and the wait to see him was over 2 hours. I don't know if it was his office people that over booked or if it's an AGH thing, but that is unacceptable. Each time I thought about getting up and leaving, I thought... I've already wasted 30 mins or an hour or 2 hours... so I stayed. NEVER AGAIN! Go to someone else... do not waste your precious time seeing this doctor!
