Dr. Elmo William Baldassari

This is as far as im concerned the best foot and ankle place around. Come to think about it i think it might. Well either way they are amazing here. They are so helpful and compassionate and go above and beyond for their patients. They do emergency appts so if your in a lot of pain they will get you in asap. That was done by family doctors back in the day. It makes you feel important when now a days not too many businesses let alone doctor offices doing this. Yes you are a patient and not a number as hard that is to believe. They also accept a ton of different insurance companies too so more times than not they will accept your insurance. So back to the review. Would I recommend this doctor office if you have an ingrown toe nail or a dislocated ankle. Heck yeah as far as I'm concerned there wouldn't be anywhere I would feel safe to get this kind of work done. Because everyone knows your feet can be very sensitive and extraordinarily painful all in one. Sorry this is so long but it all had to be said and yes my son and I are not affiliated we are just pampered patients of this office. Awesome dr, very respected out of town for his knowledge, and his great bedside manner and compassion are very hard to find today, took an hour to explain my situation and prognosis,.....truly is a great dr and person!

Dr Baldassari is a kind Dr with a great personality, along with great knowledge of anke and podiatry. Always has a smile for you to feel good!

Terrible

I was injured 2.5 weeks prior to making an appointment here to get the second opinion of a specialist. The first thing he did before looking at ANY x rays was picked my foot up and SQUEEZED it as hard as he can on both sides. I had no pain the 2.5 weeks prior to this visit, now I have sharp constant pain and terrible bruising on the side of my heel that was BARELY bruised. The x-rays I had done at the local hospital 2.5 weeks prior to this visit were unaccessable because the system was apparently down. They did take two new ones on site (after squeezing my injury) and he claimed he didnt see anything wrong? The Dr. suggested I go pick up the x-rays and come back. I am really hoping I heal ok now because I am concerned he reinjured something that was already healing for 2.5 weeks!!!! I will never return to this location. The first time I went in for ingrown toenails he was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable. This last time I went in, he rushed me in and rushed me out. He hurt me! He didn't spray the numbing stuff on it like the time before, and whenever I told him he is hurting me his response was " I got to get it out"... he then got up and said "see you back in 6 weeks"... he never mentioned my x-ray results and forgot to take the molds for my shoes inserts and I still have something sore on my big toe... definitely will not be going back. I only rate him a 2 because my very first time he actually seemed like he cared about my comfortability. Wonderful care for my mom.

First time there...had no waiting time at all...ordered diabetic sneakers and inserts, not much of a wait for those either...dr is awesome, takes time to answer your questions and pretty thorough foot exam...

Dr Elmo is a excellent surgeon and his private life is his own people need to mind there own business no one is perfect

Horrible Doctor, no personality and no compassion!! Sent me back to work with a broken foot, told me it was healed. When I told him something was still wrong he said I would probably be like that for the rest of my life. Went to a new doctor who showed me the x-ray - my foot never healed. Dr. Baldassari had a chip on his shoulder because I stated that I had seen a Dr in NYC before I went to him and obviously didn't want to be bothered to treat me. I'll never go back, won't reccomend him.

Dr. Baldassari is very Caring and Experienced and Extremely Knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him to anyone I am associated with.

Elmo Baldassari did surgery on my right ankle on August 4, 2,006. I had dislocated my ankle. Baldassari put 2 screws in my right ankle. I was on vacation at my mothers at the time. When he spoke on the phone with my husband he told my husband to take me to my Orthopedic Dr. and told my husband to call him and tell him the great praise my doctor would give him. My husband went to PA when he was going to. We flew home on Aug
