Misdiagnosed, was put on a beta blocker that almost killed me. I told Dr that medication was making me feel worse but was told to stay on it because it was necessary. I was in the hospital unconscious for four days. Had to go to Mayo in Jacksonville for diagnosis only to be told that I had severe anemia, and not a heart condition.

One of the most incompetent offices I’ve ever had to deal with!! TWO virtual visits not completed!! I took off work for these visits and they NEVER called!! Dr. Polanco has saved my life multiple times. You will not find a better cardiologist for your care in Central Florida!

This office is billing other people's insurance. Even if you live half way across the country. Now your medical records show you live in a different state and are on medications that you have never been prescribed. NOW THAT LEAVES YOU VULNERABLE TO BEING GIVEN MEDICATION YOU ARE NOT ON AND DON'T NEED IN THE EVENT YOU ARE RUSHED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. This office is billing other people's insurance. If you want a Doctor that cares about you ; analyzes everything to be certain it is right for you and follows up to be sure you are getting the results he expected, he is your guy. Also, follow his instructions he was the first Doctor to insist that I go to a sleep clinic and they found I had a bad case of sleep apnea which is hard on your heart. Other Doctors just suggested a sleep study ; he is the one that had follow through. When I first met him I wasn't excited about him; you need to give him time he is excellent. I liked him very much. Plain talker, listens well, no excessive ego, thoughtful, easy to be around, mannered and conscientious...a very nice man and doctor. Performed a cardio-version successfully. Recommend him for certain.

I’ve been seeing Dr Polanco for years and I would highly recommend him to everyone. He has saved my life more than once and he always treats me like family. If there has been a time when he was running a little behind, I have never minded, because I know when it’s my turn he never rushes me and he answers all my questions and explains everything in detail. It’s hard to find a doctor these days that actually cares about their patients the way Dr Polanco does.

Dr. Polanco is extremely knowledgeable, listens carefully to patient concerns, and provides understandable explanations as well as treatment options. I know he is busy, but I have never felt rushed during an appointment. As a long-time cardiac patient who has received medical care in several states, I rank Dr. Polanco up with the best of them. His staff is equally caring and professional.

Dr Polanco is an excellent Dr who always takes the time to explain your condition in a way you will understand, goes over all your labs and medications. Doesn't rush you in and out like most cardiologists and is very respectful and kind, a true professional. He has saved my like by catching several blocked arteries before I had a heart attack and I was able to get proper treatment in time. If your looking for a caring, trusting and very qualified Cardiologist, then choose Dr Polanco!

Appointments are constantly misgiven, changed or cancelled. Orders by the doctor are ignored by the staff thereby making appointment delays due to the patients not receiving necessary follow-up information suppose to be provided by a staff member. Prescriptions are not timely called in resulting in lack of medication. Recent medication prescribed was questioned by the pharmacist as detrimental due to previously prescribed medication. We are seeking a new cardiologist.

I FEEL THAT I THAT HE IS PART OF MY FAMILY, DOSE NOT RUSH IN AND OUT OF THE ROOM, NO WHAT I ASK HIM HE TAKES THE TIME TO EXPLAIN IT TO ME HE IS JUST A NICE GUY AND FRIEND OF THE FAMILY He is a very caring man, I trust him like to take care of my health and life
