Dr. Epifanio Calcara

The staff at Dr. Calcara’s office used to be very nice and helpful. On my last visit, I had to call to follow - up on my condition. They where very abrupt and rude. The staff did as little as possible to answer my questions and at one point, a staff member told me: , That I can go to urgent care and get a chest x - ray if I was so concerned. Dr.Calcara did little to help in this situation. I had to finally go to another doctor to receive medication.

Dr Calcara is the best. I am a physician myself, so finding an internist that I trust is important. Dr Calcara listens well, is very even keeled, and offers pertinent recommendations and plans.

I really like this doctor. He's very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. Never feel rushed.

Unfortunately, after going to Dr. Calcara for several years, I have had nothing but a terrible experience. When requesting refills for prescriptions, Dr. Calcara and his staff routinely make it as difficult as possible to obtain medication. It often takes 4 or 5 calls just to have the desired medication sent to the pharmacy. Also, when these practices were questioned, I was met with attitude and was treated very poorly. If you are looking for a reliable doctor DO NOT USE!
