Joyce R Talavera

I've been going to Dr Talavera for several years. It is very rare that I have to wait more than 10 minutes. She is kind and caring and a good doctor. I wish she would put down that freakin' laptop once in a while but they all do that. I highly recommend her.

I’ve been going to Dr Talavera for a few years. I find that she portrays herself as ditsy and scatterbrained and tends to interrupt you often or interject with snippets about herself or children. It comes across as though she is not really listening, that she doesn’t care and that she is trying to minimize that which you are saying or expressing concern about. She often asks me if I do or don’t think I should take a medication which doesn’t give me much faith in her. She is usually running late and is flustered when she walks into the room. I haven’t loved her for years because I didn’t want to have to start over with someone else but I think it’s time. I’m tired of not being heard.

If I could give this doctor one star I would. She is AWFUL. Left me waiting 45 mins past my appointment. Had a severe burning mouth for no apparent reason. kept asking if I changed toothpaste which I didn't and went on about how it could be caused by a change in toothpaste which I told her I didn't do. Told me to take an Advil and left. So still in pain with no answers. May have well asked a stranger off the street for advice
