Christine is awesome,she helped out so much with scheduling appointments and being very kind and helpful.. Yamaris the medical assistant was the BEST, very sufficient, thorough both times I've been there, especially today,i got my blood work done,i was in and out,Thanku so much to the both of you,You two are the best!!!!

Easy in easy out! Nurse’s were fantastic. Dr. Cohen professional work, great bedside mantas always.

Competent MD who was very attentive to my comfort level before and after my procedure. I have complete trust in his experience as a GI specialist.

The procedure is not something I do " frequently " I was quite surprised and pleased by the easy and very relaxed ambience all together from registration and specially by nursing staff very polite and friendly , in my opinion very casual yet very professional of course ( light conversation ). The procedure itself no side effects and I felt like I was out in a flash. If I ever have the procedure again I will certainly look for Dr. Cohen.. So my husband had a colonoscopy schedule for 9:00 am after sitting in my car for three hours I go in Carney hospital to find out they have never started the procedure!! No call or anything from anyone telling me there were three hours behind! My poor elderly husband just been sitting in a closed room for three hours! This place is unprofessional and the doctor does care about his patients or value their time!! Find you a better to go! Unless you have time to waste!! This doctor Only works on Wednesdays.If you should need him for an emergency Don't bother he can't help you cuz he only Works on Wednesdays. He won't even call you to help. He's fired

I went in to see Dr. Cohen for IBS, and if you have this condition I would strongly advise you see a different doctor. Dr. Cohen did nothing for me, did not present me with a treatment plan, and did not ask any questions to quantify my pain or try to find aggravating factors. He simply prescribed more laxatives, and even recommended I take up to 1800 milligrams of magnesium citrate a day (1-3 bottles), which is a clear overdose from the recommendation of 320 milligrams per the National Academy if Medicine. Afterward he referred me back to my PCP (who referred me to a GI specialist) which made this feel like a huge waste of time. If you have IBS and are sick of doctors not believing you or refusing to develop a plan of care aside from more laxatives, you should seek care elsewhere. Always Professional Medical Care.

I had gastroscopy and colonoscopy and they went super smooth. Dr. Cohen and the staff are great professionals. Everything is explained and the results are presented upon completion of procedure. Dr. Cohen is very knowledgeable and I am quite happy with the whole process.Highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

Definitely would not recommend Dr. Cohen. He is very cavalier about serious issues and left a friend in a very dangerous situation.

Dr Cohen was great, he explained everything thoroughly before and after my procedure, everyone at carney hospital was great as well, I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone.

Dr. Cohen was prompt & informative, making sure I know how to take this new medication for my disease. He answered all questions. Was very polite & open to all things I asked. He put my mind at ease with the illness I have and is a wonderful doctor. I will be seeing him again in two months to go over how the medication is working and to give me another check up. I think Steward health South on Coddington Street is great. all the staff are friendly and it is easy access for me as going to Carney Hospital was always a hassle. I think the group is too notch! I would give 0 stars if I could, Dr. Cohen was very rude for no reason - gave absolutely no compassion towards my colitis and talked to me like I was 10 years old. I'm 20. Will be searching for a new gi to do my colonoscopy and I really hope I don't end up stuck with this guy. Clearly one of those doctors who is just in it for the money, not to help people. Terrible experience, avoid this office at all costs. The front desk lady was nice though! Shoutout to you and I hope you find a new job. WENT TO SEE THIS MD, AFTER MY PROCEDURE WAS DONE I STILL HAVE NO CLUE WHAT WAS WRONG. WHEN I WOKE UP HE WAS GONE AND THE NURSE WAS THERE. WAS SENT HOME WITHOUT ANY DISCHARGE INSTRUCTION AND WHEN CALLED TO ASK QUESTIONS HE WAS " TOO BUSY" THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

Dr. Cohen is incredibly unreliable and unprofessional, as well as being extremely difficult to get a hold of. When I had a colonoscopy done with him over a year ago after two consultations , he didn’t even remember meeting me and reintroduced himself. That doesn’t exactly instill confidence when you’re having an invasive procedure done. When I woke up, he told me that the colonoscopy couldn’t fully be done due to twists in my colon and that the solution was to eat smaller portions and take Miralax. He told me this after having been out of work for over a month due to severe pain and nausea. This is not a solution, but a bandaid and I’m still dealing with these issues a year later. I have a family history of colon cancer and Crohn’s and these detailed were communicated. Switch to today and I’m trying to have my records of this procedure sent to my PCP. It’s been a month trying to have these documents sent & I’ve been lied to twice now, having Dr. Cohen say that the records were sent when really the records were never sent after failure for the fax to go through. I wasn’t told this until I called and spoke with one of his receptionists. I highly recommend finding another professional as this is the worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. I have had gastrointestinal issues my entire life. When I was 16 I was diagnosed with a nervous stomach and was prescribed 2 drops of liquid belladonna to be taken twice a day in orange juice and 4 Tablespoons of Mylanta extra strength twice a day and to stop going inward and be more outspoken about my feelings and opinions. I did this as much as I could without being disrespectful. Doctor Cohen’s entire demeanor has made me feel like I will finally be fixed. He listens, he cares and he’s calm.

I have had problems other than GI issues. Dr treated me for 2 months for wrong condition. Then sent me for a series of tests at a hospital. It has been a month now and I have not received results or a referral to a specialist. I was told to call the hospital myself and track down the results of my tests. I did that and still have no answer. This is a life threatening problem!

Dr Cohen is always professional and friendly. In what can be an embarrassing situation, he is able to help you feel comfortable. He tells you everything he is about to do and what to expect later - even on subsequent visits. His office staff is wonderful and his receptionist is fabulous. For this computerized world, he bring his computer in with him but I always feel that I am his focus of attention. He is never too rushed to answer questions.
