Eric David Libby

I've had a lot of endoscopies, and I don't tolerate sedation well, so most of them, including the one Dr. Libby just performed on me, have been unsedated. So I can report that he is unusually good at doing this procedure. He was also very clear in describing what the results meant, and everyone at the facility was very pleasant. I also had a colonoscopy and he was careful and again, made sure that I understood what everything meant. I highly recommend Dr. Libby to anyone in the Boston area in need of a colonoscopy or endoscopy.

Dr. Libby and his staff were Awesome! I had a seriously bad experience several years ago which causes me tremendous anxiety even for just standard medical check ups and procedures. Dr. Libby acknowledged my past history with me and he was empathetic. My procedure went so well with him! Also, the nurse that administered my IV was great as I didn’t even have a bruise or mark! Unbelievable! Everyone was so nice!! Here I am one day later and feel totally normal, like nothing ever happened!!

Dr. Libby’s is amazing! Explains everything so well, but what makes him even better is his caring demeanor! The entire team at DHS is outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Libby and DHS. Thanks for taking care of someone who is afraid of all medical procedures, you are amazing!

Dr. Libby was friendly, kind, intelligent and took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. He went out of his way to get my treatment done during a time when hospitals were delaying procedures due to covid 19

One of the nicest Dr.’s you could meet. He’s very thorough. When discussimg your issues with him you feel as if your his only patient. Big thumbs up ! ????

Dr. Libby has been taking care of me since 2005. He is a very knowledgeable, skilled, personable, and kind physician. I feel lucky to have found him. I am a physician too - though I was a patient first - and I really appreciate his bedside manner and expertise. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Libby is very caring and knowledgeable. I switched to him after Dr. Vanneman retired and I am happy with him so far. He laid out my entire case and reviewed all of my medical history with me. He took plenty of time to explain things to me and is just as professional and caring as Dr. Vanneman. Both are a class act!

He’s a no nonsense doctor, told Me how it was straight out.... 3-5 years if I didn’t stop self medicating myself (Liver).... Can’t wait to see him on my 6th Year checkup !!!!

Had Dr. Libby for several years. While he's fine for regular ongoing treatment or preventative procedures, he's horrible about dealing with anything requiring attention that can't wait 3 months for an appointment. He's also reluctant to call patients back even when he plans to follow up. You typically wait a week after putting in a call to talk with him regardless of the issue and its severity. Waiting 3 months or more for any office appointment is also unacceptable.
