I have a physically demanding job as a surgical nurse, which takes a toll on my body. I decided to try a chiropractor, so I asked around and several of our nurses go to Dr. Eric Macanga, and they highly recommended him. I was very nervous since I realize that pulling and twisting neck could potentially cause harm. Once I went to him, it was very controlled and felt safe. Beforehand, I was prepared by ultrasound with natural pain relief cream (family recipe), and electrical stimulation, which felt great. The adjustment was kind of like a long gentle stretch first and then slight and firm twist, which produced a bunch of cracking sounds. I learned to relax for the adjustment, I try to think of ocean or my cats. It is not painful at all, and feels amazing afterwords. It's like the whole neck and back get freed from stress, tension, and become flexible. It also energizes somehow. I go now consistently to maintain since it is not a one time fix. Dr. Macanga is the best chiropractor I have seen. He also does acupuncture and is excellent at that also. He spends so much time with you - over 2 hrs with me. He is so caring and truly wants to feel better. I would recommend him to anyone. Jan
