I was disappointed in the time that Dr. Ritchie took to look at my Grandaughter's case thoughly. He was so short with his explanations and completely wrong in her prognosis. Shame on him--his office personnel were very nice. He was too "into himself"!

My son had a fractured elbow. Dr. Ritchie was amazing from the office visit, to going out of his way to get the surgery scheduled and performing the surgery. He gave us parents the explanation and attention that we needed when you have an injured child. Thank you Dr. Ritchie!!

Three doctors looked at my daughter's knee and no one said her explanation was impossible and accused her of lying. After she bent down and on the way up she heard a "pop". Immediate pain and swelling. An hour later the swelling went down and it was bruised. We went to Texas Med Clinic, they took an xray but thought she needed an mri and see an orthopedic. Keep your kids away from him. My child's are was still broke and he took the cast off. Thank God for second opinions. My child isn't the only child he has done this to.

I know him from a professional aspect from hospital. He is highly regarded. My daughter was having severe pain after falling on a church retreat over weekend. Did MRI’s and said she had torn meniscus on L. He kinda blew us off saying doesn’t believe the MRIs always. She has suffered since and that was 1.5 yrs ago. Finally going to another ortho and he said once torn it has to be fixed and doesn’t heal on its own. Very disappointed in his bedside manner and rushed appt every time.

I highly recommend Dr. Ritchie! We had an excellent experience from the moment I made the call to schedule to the time we left the office. The staff was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Ritchie was great with my little girl!

Dr. Ritchie is professional with an excellent bedside manner. He is also very patient!!! He explained everything very well and took the time to answer all of my questions(even though I repeated them as I was in shock). He is the best!!!

When my 6-year-old son broke his arm, I was able to get in to see Dr. Ritchie right away. The office was super fun for the kids and Dr. Ritchie made my son feel comfortable and even had him laughing. I was not rushed through, but Dr. Ritchie took his time and answered all my questions in a way I could understand. He saw us at every follow-up visit and was really good with all my kids being there.

Everyone was fantastic with the exception of the lady who settled us up at the end. Not friendly. No eye contact. Dr. Ritchie was personable and kind to my daughter. Explained diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Great service.
