I would not recommend this doctor at all, complete waste of my time. I waited about 2 months just to get in and see this doctor, only to see him for a total of 3 minutes. He rushed in, didn’t really go over any of my concerns. The only good thing about this place is the office staff were very sweet other than that will not be going back.

He has moved to Boerne :(

I had the worst experience with this doctor. He is rude and does not let you talk. He wants to be in control the entire time and will not listen to your concerns. If you do express concerns, he will tell you that he this is not his first rodeo. If you persist and ask questions, he will tell you that he can't help you and will attempt to walk out on you.

My visit with Dr. Reder was by far the WORST Doctor visit I’ve ever experienced. He was very rude, abrasive and doesn’t really give you a chance to even speak. The rushed visit was pretty much like this is the way it is because I know it all without even asking simple questions. My symptoms were not even addressed and it was a complete waste of time. Save yourself the hassle and insult from being talked down to as if your are ignorant.

I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Reder. He’s to-the-point and doesn’t spend any more time with his patients than is necessary to do his job--he’s not rude, just efficient. He diagnosed my problem right away and advised me of my next step. I would have appreciated having a bit more time to ask questions; but I got what I went there for, so no complaints. With over 30 years’ experience, Dr. Reder knows his stuff… just don’t expect him to be too chatty.

Went to see "Dr" Reder for some breathing issues. After the septum scan results, my complaints were quickly written off with the trite prescription of nasal spray. The biggest problem I had here was that Dr. Reder was very dismissive towards me during my visit with him. Besides that, the staff was very tough to get a hold of on the phone. The doctor spent 5 minutes with me and he talked 4 of it. Made assumptions without letting me have more input on my own symptoms.

I went to Dr. Reders office April 2018 - it was clean , the office staff was great - THEY are the only reason this is 1 stars. September, Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month. Dr.Reder is NO help. Office charged my insurance 500$ for our pep talk and I could have used that money to pay the doctor who actually saved my life and was not rude. Was referred here by my primary physician. The ladies in the front office were very friendly, Dr. was friendly too but the visit was a waste of time and money. The visit cost $316 for a less than 2 minute 'exam' by the Dr. who said based on the CT scan no treatment or follow up was needed. Talked a mile a minute, did not give me a chance to ask questions and then ran out the room while I was still sitting in the exam chair. Should have been able to do this via phone consult for a lower price than having me come in just to tell me no action is needed based on scan. Was referred here by my primary physician. I always enjoy coming to see Dr Reder. It's obvious he is busy but I love how he is friendly and always makes sure I have my questions answered before leaving. My girls like coming here. The staff is always friendly. I even notice refunds being sent to my insurance if I was ever overcharged eventhough I only pay my co pay.

Worst doctor I have seen, didn't care about my problem, he was upset because I asked the nurse how much longer before I get seen, I had been in the waiting room for an hour, when he walks in he tells me, I hear your upset because I'm taking to long, he said he wished he was a one patient doctor so he could only see me and I didn't have to wait. Always thorough. He’s been watching my thyroid nodules. Recently, things changed, and he has been very patient and accommodating explaining what’s wrong and why he made the determination that it’s time to remove it.

Dr. Reder is great! My 10 month old saw him and I could not be happier with our experience! He is personable and relatable. We saw him on a Tuesday and he recommended moving forward with tubes, we had an appointment the next day for surgery! Office staff and nurses were all friendly and helpful!

For the first time in over two years I can hear from both ears. My right ear canal had been blocked, somehow the skin had closed the ear canal. The first Doc told me to get a hearing aid. Dr. Reder operated, removed the blockage, which was not cancerous, and now I can hear. I was thinking of using a power drill and doing it myself, but I am so happy that I was referred to Dr. Reder by my Dr. Kathleen Soch. Life is now even better.
