My last appointment with Dr. Bishop was an absolute nightmare!!! Dr. Bishop and her APNP were cruel and condescending as her APNP yelled at me, you don't have a cervix!! I will never forget the smirk on Dr. Bishop face as she was completely unrecognizable to me. As the only person in the room laying on the exam table nude from the waist down it was an out of body experience. When I spoke to Dr. Bishop after my appointment on the phone she offered many excuses, but never owned her role in my experience. I know that I have PTSD as I have yet to see another provider, as a uterine cancer survivor this is not good for my health.

She played God with my mom's life and she had an incomplete robotic surgery because this woman did not study my mother's chart in its entirety it purely and simply stated that she had suffered a stroke earlier and that she was not a candidate for robotic surgery because of that stroke. Mom had even shown up in this doctors ER for that stroke so the records were readily available! My mother shut down and she had a DNR on file and this doctor played God and rode over that order in her file and revived her sending my mother out with incomplete lymph node removal as she promised and secured and stated was the most complete way of making sure this cancer did not return because my mother's growth rate was so fast that this was an emergency surgery and it was done on my DAD's birthday who also passed of cancer, RIP due to his service in the Army and exposure to chemical compounds in materials in his work as a Precision Machinist. My mother walked in there for surgery and when she came out she had six tanks of oxygen and a walker and these doctors could not figure out why I was in such shock and their nurses belittled me for not having everything perfectly prepared by getting her her pain medications that I knew she would never take and she didn't! I will just say one thing on the anniversary and that is that we are pretty damn sure my mom is suffering again with the same type of cancer only this time it's in her bone marrow of her hip or her lymph nodes in her legs and we can't figure out where it's coming from because this doctor did not take the time or care to follow up thoroughly...
