Dr. Erkan Mutlukan

I’ve never seen such an unorganized process in my whole life. I’ve been out of work because I literally have double vision and a dead hip. Like the bone is dead and I need disability. I’ve been trying along with my worker since August to have my files faxed. That’s it, just faxed. I’ve called at least 10 times over the last month. After finally getting ahold of the office and being told I’m going to be charged $25 to have them sent… they still aren’t sent!! Get your act together or retire.

I think Dr Mutlukan is the best. he is very caring and knowledgeable in many things.. very comfortable visit. I will go to him wherever his practice is.. I sent a few friends to him and they love him also I give him 5 stars.

No communication at all

Easy to talk to, very informative not only with eye issues but some migraine treatments to do at home. Thank you for your help!

INCREDIBLY UNORGANIZED. There is no actual filing system and there's no way for Dr. Mutlukan to remember what was said from visit to visit because he doesn't keep notes. There is no actual receptionist on site, it's a very strange set up. You have to call a separate office to get an appointment and maybe days later you will get a call back. He is very short tempered and doesn't like to be challenged or asked questions.

After 2 and a half years of seeing multiple eye doctors, a neurologist who eventually slapped a stressed induced migraine diagnosis on me, several doctors who dismissed my symptoms as anxiety, I finally was referred to Dr. Mutlukan. I have lived with extreme dizziness, migraines, severe eye pain, and left side arm pain. He did a three hour exam and was the ONLY doctor who finally gave me a correct diagnosis. He listened to my concerns. He was thorough in explaining everything to me in detail and little did I know I could have gone blind had I not gone to him. He also found some serious conditions and I am currently looking for a cardiovascular doctor to address these issues. I want to thank Dr. Mutlukan for finally figuring out what was wrong with me all this time. He is compassionate and extremely smart. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

An extremely intune opthalmologist with neurology in the forefront of his mind when he was examining me which hadn't been done in the time since my injury. The Dr not only diagnosed my current problem but discovered an underlying one which hadn't been revealed to me.

After driving a hour amd a 1/2 Dr.Mutlukan was late opening his office when we walked in he immediately had a attitude the office was dirty and even though we had a referal he had no info on my daughter he then snapped and said get the blank out or I am calling the cops he is the most unprofessional doctor i have ever seen do not recommend

Very knowledgeable and friendly. He genuinely cares about you as a person and a patient and I definitely recommend him!

Do not go to this person. Wont even call him a doctor. Beware. Worst experience of my life. I won't get in to detail. Just stay away.

He was very unprofessional, I agree with all these negative comments. when I left he handed me the diagnosis on a sticky note and told me to “find a neurologist “offered no help once I was diagnosed. Wrote a prescription on an index card, I left and I got no paperwork except the sticky note! Not Covid safe at all since his chairs were all ripped and he did not clean between customers because he was alone there. No secretary, seemed very frazzled and disorganized. Got annoyed when I asked questions. No sink anywhere in sight, there was a bathroom With a sign on it saying not for customer use. Leaves had blown in his front door and when I went back five days later they were still there, does not clean office. He left for two weeks and promised he would send fax referral for me to get appointment with a specialist and he did not do it until he got back two weeks later. He got back on Monday and didn’t send the referral until that Thursday. Worst experience ever. Very upsetting

I felt like I was getting examined by a doctor from the 1970's. He equipment is old and chipped in fact he needed a pair of plyers to fix one of his pieces of equipment. He writes his prescription on a blank "card" then stamps it with his doctors logo. This man should not be practicing any exams, period ! He didn't even know what to do with billing Medicare or our primary carrier. This man should not be in business.

Dr. Mutlukan is great and he’s very friendly and professional. He makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Mutlukam

He saved my mothers eyesight!!!! She would be completely blind if not for Dr Mutlukan!!

He is friendly, very polite, genuinely caring and most helpful. I had been seeing several doctors on my eye and vision issues and was referred to him.. I wish I had seen him much earlier. With the tests he ordered, I got a correct diagnosis and treatment, first in the hospital for three days and later in follow up of him with a lot of improvement in my vision. He is highly recommended.

I wish I could give 0 stars. So unprofessional. At my first appointment, he yelled at another patient for 10 mins then told me that she was "mentally ill." She was upset because he writes the rx on an INDEX CARD and the store wouldn't accept it. He doesn't even have a real prescription pad! Then he gets angry at me because it takes me "15 seconds to answer a question that should take 1 second." The one positive-it's easy to get an appt right away.. probably since no one wants to see him again!

Absolutely the best provider I've ever seen. Incredibly caring, friendly, compassionate, & kind. Dr. Multukan is highly intelligent & takes the time to explain the exam, results, & impact of the results. Always answers questions completely & takes time to be certain I understand everything. He's an outstanding patient advocate openly communicating with members of your healthcare team so you receive the best care possible. office staff is outstanding, friendly, kind, understanding.

I found that his explanations of the methods and the findings of each step in the eye exam were helpful and informative.

Had a very quick appointment and was treated by both doc and staff excellently. Has seen me in consultation as referred by other doctor and explained my condition and its treatment very well. We made appointments for the whole family members now.

Saw this dr. a few times. He was unable to make a diagnosis. He seemed professional at first but with future appointments and still no idea of what was causing the eye issues he seemed uninterested to try to figure it out.
