Dear Dr Baptist, As someone who has helped so many children and done so many great things using your knowledge of science and medicine to better the lives of Rockfordians… As someone who previously interviewed patients to confirm they wouldn’t deny vaccinations for some ridiculous antivax conspiracy theory… Where did you go, and who is the politically and morally blinded and biased man who replaced you? Why would you use a drs appoint to push your political views? Why would you hypocritically push your moral bias against hpv vaccinations on families? Why would believe your politicians more than your scientists, medical professionals, and the cdc on their recommendations on the right age and who to vaccinate for Covid? You are a smart man, so this is all so dumbfounding. As my parting piece of advice, personal opinions are like assholes…they all taste bad, and yours is no different. Stick to medical opinions or stop misguiding people and get out of medicine. Sad to see the downfall of a once great professional. We LOVE Dr. Baptist and his staff! So thankful for all of them!

I can not speak highly enough of Dr. Baptist and the care he gives our children. He is brilliant, funny, kind and patient. He spends time and answers every question and explains everything. A lot of times when I call, his staff says "How soon can you get here??" He runs his practice so effectively and efficiently - I wish other Docs would take notice. So grateful he was my childhood doctor up until college. I will always remember his lighthearted question: Are you a monkey or a mouse? I remember never being afraid going to Doctors office because he was always so welcoming and kind and all around good person. I am almost 30 and cannot believe he is still practicing pediatrics but what a gift! So happy to hear he has taught and helped train future doctors. A true gem to the Rockford community. Dr. Baptist took care of all of my three children since 1993 until their adulthood and always did a splendid job.

I am biased, as far as Dr. Baptist is concerned, so take my review in that context. Dr. Baptist was my teacher for pediatrics in medical school. I almost went into pediatrics, mostly because of him. Of all the physicians in medical school, internship, and residency who've been my instructors, he will always stand out as one of the top finest, in scholarship and integrity, but also in kindness. I am a better doctor today because of him. My two sons are his patients, and love him. I am biased, as far as Dr. Baptist is concerned, so take my review in that context. I love that he is always available if we have a question or need to have kid checked. He is very knowledgeable and kids like him. Staff is friendly.

Hands down the best doctor!

I would recommend Dr. Baptist to anyone. He is knowledgeable, friendly, loving, caring, and makes going to the doctor's office fun.

Has been our Dr. for 13 years. Excellent Pediatrician! Very responsive.

Dr. Baptist is the best doctor we have ever experienced. He is always on call. He makes sure you feel supported. He is knowledgeable and right. He makes kids laugh and tells parents they are doing the right things, supporting breastfeeding! I wish he were my doctor and my son's doctor! :-)

Not a hold your hand kind of doctor, but thorough with the kids, makes them laugh and feel comfortable.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Baptist. He is so caring, always gets us in... And really listens to parents. He is very supportive of breastfeeding, and overall just a great person! He helped make me feel very confident in my parenting choices! Thank you so much Dr. B!

Best peds doctor in Rockford.

Dr. Baptist is absolutely the best doctor in Rockford. We are so thankful our son is a patient of his. He always knows what is wrong (or not wrong) with our son when we bring him in or call and when we do call in after hours, Dr. Baptist calls us back literally within a minute. I had no idea how much I would rely on our pediatrician before our son was born. Dr. Baptist was very understanding and helpful when I was a brand new mom and took every phone call and answered every silly question. Dr. Baptist is absolutely the best doctor in Rockford.
