The staff is very nice but Iqbal is a horrid little tyrant of a person who should not be practicing primary care. She demands that you change your HMO provider to her before you even meet her. After doing her voluminous pre-appt paperwork, and an hour on the phone with my insurance company, now I have to start all over again. I will not use her and after talking to my children they will be withdrawing from her “care” as well. I wish they had warned me in advance and that I paid attn to the negative reviews.

I found out she was sharing information about me to someone I DID NOT APPROVE...I'm finding another doctor

Dr Iqbal is the most sensitive, caring and expert primary care physician I have ever worked with. She has helped through many severe health problems over the last few years. I will be eternally grateful for her care.

I have found Dr. Iqbal to be a caring doctor that takes time with me. She's not a pill pusher, a characteristic I appreciate as I believe so many doctors want to solve the patient problems with a pill, but then again, I guess that is what a majority of patients want in a doctor. She will prescribe medication if necessary, but that is not the first option if a lifestyle change will work. I have found Dr. Iqbal to be a caring doctor that takes time with me. Dr Iqbal is the finest physician I have ever seen. She has aided me through some very serious health issues in the past several years. She is thorough and takes time to ask me about everything going on and to offer suggestions and make very clear what I should be doing for my health issues.

She is a very rude doctor does not believe in medicine at all she should not even be practicing medicine she will not help you if you're sick or anything save your money and go to a real doctor

I am astonished that this extraordinary physician who specializes in gerontology works in Roane County. She makes referrals to exceptional doctors if a specialist is needed. Dr. Iqbal is thorough, intelligent, caring, kind and considerate. There is no doubt in my mind that she is informed about the most current procedures and treatments pertaining to her patient's care and well-being. My 85 yr, old mother is under Dr. Iqbal's care, and she treats mom with the utmost respect and dignity.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Iqbal two weeks ago. She was VERY clinically intelligent and diagnostically she has a vast amount of knowledge. She spent at least 45 minutes with me, and was able to make sense of a few things that had been going on with me (medically). If you are looking for a physician who will sugarcoat things and hold your hand, she is not the one for you. But, if you are looking for a GOOD Dr. I highly recommend Dr. Iqbal!

Excellent, competent, thorough, detail oriented. She is direct, efficient and enthusiastic about getting her patient the care he or she requires.

I have had nothing but praise for Dr. Iqbal. She treats my elderly mother and father who has dementia. I am always there with them and she explains things very well to them and to me. She is attentive and listens to everything I tell her about their health. She also answers any questions we have thoroughly and completely.

If competence, thoroughness, directness and detail orientation offend you, and you need a lot of hand holding, then she may not be right for you. My impression is that she is passionately concerned with the health of her patients - perhaps more than they may be. I guess that must be frustrating to a doctor who wants the best for her patients. Give her a break. She's worth it.

Dr. Iqbal's demeanor on my initial visit was argumentative and hostile. The tone of voice used by Dr. Iqbal was inappropriately loud at times. Dr. Iqbal was informative regarding issues between insurance companies and doctors regarding mandatory compliance by the patient of regular testing and monitoring at regular intervals. My feedback opinion of Dr. Iqbal is subject to change with the passing of time as one of her patients.

Dr. Iqbal is very conscientious. She explains her diagnoses and has patience. I like her very much.

Wouldn't listen, she kept cutting me off as I was talking. She read passages from her computer to me. she had very little interest in my other Dr or my diagnosis from him. I just moved to the area from Memphis, just wanted a primary care Dr. She asked me what medications i had taken in the past, i told her. She was quick to say "Americans are taking to many medicines", that annoyed me. I wasn't even asking for medication, I was just answering her question. Horrible experience.

Horrible.. she was rude, only wanted to ask me questions to document on her computer. Interrupted me when I spoke. She spent 10 minutes with me and told me the office was closing. Also, while I was waiting in her examining room, I heard her arguing with someone in the hall outside my door. She literally, did nothing but refer me to rmc. For testing. You can get better help at a walk in clinic. She is basically, running a clinic. All she's ever done when I visit is do expensive bloodwork.

Rude beyond belief. No way will I ever return to her get them in and out clinic. I'll fund another Dr. or go to a walk in clinic. Actually, I've received better care at walk in clinics. Money is hard to come by, and I won't be wasting it on her rushed visits, again.

Horrible bedside manner.

He didn't listen to a word I said. He was deadsett on what he thought was wrong and wouldn't even consider it being anything else which it was. Plus I got the feeling that he thought I was stupid and I couldn't really understand a word he said.
