I was very disappointed with this doctor before I was even able to get into see him I got a phone call the day before the visit and they said we are canceling you for two no shows which was not true, they rescheduled me and I rescheduled once I NEVER did a no show. I was told by Julie the office manager of this office that Dr Mahmoud wanted to cancel my appointment because I have seen other rhemotologist within the practice and that there won’t be anything else anyone can do for me. Then Julie changed her tune and proceeds to call me back and tell me that she can’t make any guarantees but I can still show up for the appointment the following day . I should have never gone Even after this I still decided to go because I was hoping to revive the needed treatment for a diagnosis that I received years prior and this doctor dismissed the condition and tried to tell me that I don’t have the diseases/conditions. I could tell he just wanted to not deal with me He was very dismissive and I felt very upset and end up getting up during the visit and leaving while the doctor was still talking to me about another condition. THe doctor also asked me oh do you have anxiety? What does that have to do with my diagnosis NOTHING! I left the office in tears . All I wanted to do was get on something to help treat my conditions and maybe give me a better life quality and I was treated like that..I did not deserve to be treated that way. What is even more sad was that I had high expectations for this doctor because another doctor and a patient told me he was a great doctor and was attentive and caring so I was happy thinking I was going to have a good experience but that didn’t happen. If you want to leave upset then this is the place to go

Finally a Doctor who listens. After being misdiagnosed for 20 + Years Dr. Mahmood ran the right test, X-rays, MRI I got my diagnosis. Now on track to start making me feel better.

A great dr that listens and helps.

This was my first visit. Dr. Mahmood apologized for the delay because of the coronavirus, which was nice. We talked very briefly about my condition and symptoms. He said he had reviewed my “records,” he is a part of my primary care doctor’s group. He briefly looked at my hands and feet. Then asked a couple of questions and then talked to me about fibromyalgia and a chronic pain and fatigue research group. Basically said my doctor was “barking up the wrong tree” and they should be treating me for fibromyalgia. I looked at his notes later and he reports doing a full exam but never touched me (because of coronavirus) but don’t report abdomen soft and palpable but you never even touched the patient. This was one note among a list of misinformation recorded. I am not saying his diagnosis is right or wrong but how will we know if he doesn’t take the time to even see and really listen to the patient. Dr. Mahmood has poor bedside manner and doesn’t communicate well with his patients.

Speaks to you very plainly and straight forward. Doesn't act rushed. Very receptive to anything you have to say or ask.

My Mother is like a different person after (finally) finding a doctor to help with her debilitating arthritis. Dr. Mahood you are a miracle worker! Thank you a million times over! ????????

Dr Mahmood is an amazing Dr. Not only is he the smartest human being I’ve ever been in a room with, he is very compassionate and truly willing to find out what is going on and treat it accordingly. He listens to your concerns and is engaged enough to ask important follow up questions I’d never think to tell him. Great man, Great Doctor. HIGHLY recommended

I was referred To dr. Mahood in May. Since then my appointment has been re scheduled twice. First time was moved a month back. Then last week I got a call my August 8th appointment is now moved till September 28th. I would highly not recommend this doctor if you want answers / or treatment for your RA.

Mr. Mahmood, from the very moment he entered the room, didn't hear anything I had to say. He interrogated me as to why my previous Rheumatologist didn't immediately begin a medicinal intervention when I was first diagnosed with RA several years ago. I'm not a doctor. I did not have an answer. The answers were in my records, which hopefully, he'll have read by my next appointment. Unfortunately I will be returning, as there is a severe lack of RA specialists in my state.

Dr. Mahmood is a very knowledgeable, kind and caring physician. He has provided excellent care and I would recommend him to all. He is very professional as well as his staff..but very friendly and solicitous of your feelings and concerns regarding your care. He answers all questions you may have and sets aside time if extra time is needed. I am glad to have been referred to him, and would encourage anyone seeking the care of a Rheumatologist to contact the office, as everyone there works as a close team ensuring you receive the best care possible!
