Dr. Ferdinand Joseph Formoso

First off, going to a pain management specialist can be a bit overwhelming. I’ve been suffering from chronic back pain for several years….and was reluctant to go see a specialist. Dr Formoso made me feel comfortable….he listened to how I was feeling and got me on a plan to help with my back pain. Also, each and every time I had questions, whether about pain itself to office matters, everyone was very pleasant to talk with and helpful! I recommend this practice to anyone who is in need of a pain mgmt specialist. So, to Dr Formosa - thank you, sir. And, to each and every staff member, thank you for your time as well. God bless.

Extremely professional clinic with excellent staff and sincere, caring, knowledgeable practitioners that will actually order testing and work with you to find a solution so you can live an enjoyable life. This clinic offers numerous options for pain management. There are several practitioners to chose from and the wait time is usually about 5-15 minutes from my personal experience. Most procedures are are done in the office and specialists will travel to the clinic to perform various testing procedures for your convenience.

10 years ago Ferdinand Formoso miss placed an epidural needle in my low back and caused all kinds of Hell and pain for me the last 10 years. I now am forced to have 3 vertebrae fused at 40 years old. Haven't heard a word from this quack Ferdinand and not a penny of compensation. I have been forced to take on side jobs as noone will hier me. I can't be the only one this man damaged with an epidural needle. Don't let this man stick any needles in you folks.

Terrible company, full of employees who order delivery constantly but never tip their drivers even when we are on time, how can you trust these people with your health when they can't even scrounge up a few bucks for the delivery guy. Very telling of how the employees, and by association the managers, think. Dr Formoso takes his time to discuss my injury and make plans for treatment with kindness and intelligence. He found the nerves causing pain quickly. I had oblation and it worked. I will be visiting him for oblation in other areas for sure. I was afraid to have it done but he came highly recommended from another doctor.

After I got hit by a truck while walking on the sidewalk on Jan. 29th, 2019, I had NO idea what I was doing as far as pain treatment went. I was 20 years old when I was hit, and 21 years old when I needed a pain management doctor. With tears in my eyes, I called Dr. Antoine’s office because it was close to where I lived at the time, and it had good ratings. Dr. Antoine’s office took me under their wings and introduced me to a wonderful support system. The reviews that talk about how disrespectful this new office staff is - you get what you give. They have always been respectful to me, they have always been accommodating, and they have always been supportive. I love Dr. Antoine and this entire office so much that I would be willing to travel from anywhere so as to not switch to someone that’s not nearly as competent as they all are. If you’re looking for a doctor to just give you medications and not actually care for you as an individual, then do not come here. As I grew older, I developed extremely painful osteoarthritis which made it difficult to even walk without pain. Medications did nothing for me but I was directed by my primary physician to Doctor Formoso. Not only is he totally a completely skilled, but he is understanding, has a great patient manner, matched by a great staff from top to bottom. I have been his patient for over a year, but it ook a lot less time than that to achieve a virtually pain-free life. Now how much is that worth? It's worth everything. I have recommended Dr. Formoso to anyone I see suffering from pain. There is no need to go through life in pain all the time, not with today's technological breakthroughs, which Doctor Formoso is 100% on top of. I have seen dr. Formosa for over 20 years. He has kept me from having to have back surgery. He is the BEST! I won't have anyone but Dr. Formosa touch my back!

Dr Formosa has given me a better quality of life I have severe spinal problems and have been able to function thanks to dr Formosa and his staff. I highly recommend him

I've been staying here for about a year and a half and I can tell you he's a great listener, low-key, caring and sincerely interested in helping you. I used to have a lot of pain from arthritis and it's virtually gone now. He gave me my life back.

After 15 years of having to take Oploid medication daily for pain, due to two herniated discs and a compression fracture. Dr. Formoso and his wonderful staff have manage to get me pain free and almost completely off the medication. There are not enough words to express my gratitude.

I just started see Dr Formoso. I like him he has helping me. I'd recommend him all day long

I was one of the first patients when Dr Formosa started his practice. He helped me to be able physically to care for my mother for 5 years before cancer took her. Also he treated me after I was rear ended on 95 and seriously hurt. Then a few months ago I was reported to the credit bureau as owning almost $4000 from that accident which was settled thru an attorney. I have tried numerous times to get this taken care of. If anyone is still monitoring his social media accounts please bring this to his attention. Never would I give Dr Formosa a bad review because of the failings of his staff But I do not owe money for the billing errors. Staff is rude, wait time is unrealistic, like beyond reasonable amount of time, i.e. 1.5 to two hours min wait time. I could walk b4 going to Dr. Formosa but not the case after, and the only help offered up was to prescribe more pain meds, even after communicating paim meds were not working. Pleased with the call back from Dr Formoso

He’s an absolutely wonderful Doctor and person. He is so kind and caring.... He truly feels your pain and wants to help you. And he only hires kind, caring personnel....Andy, who is the Doctors medical assistant, manages to make me laugh ?? no matter how much pain I’m in. He is a deeply spiritual, gentle,health care provider. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Formosa.

Waited for 2 hours in a freezing cold waiting room smelling of bbq.Never received apology for the long wait.Dr. Formoso is a mediocre doctor at best. He did not even review my prior records or look at my injured leg. He just wanted to push meds and send me on my way. After my visit, I never received a callback in which I requested calming meds for MRI...simple request!!! I refuse to return for 2nd visit. This was the worst doctor I have ever seen and I wush there was a 0 star option.

Dr. Formoso does not have one positive attribute. His staff is rude, the wait time is in excess of an hour, and the waiting area is dirty. When you finally see the doctor, he is inconvenienced that you are there at all. I received treatment from the physician and in a short period of time, I went from uncomfortable to having pain so severe that I could not walk and an infection in my bones from stem cell injections delivered by the doctor with no end in site. DO NOT SEE THIS DR.!

Dr. Formosa write up. which should be titled "House of Horrors" I started my search for pain management doctors on account that I had not had any success in seeing a sports medicine and spine specialist for the discomfort I had in my lower back, which through MRI's had shown that I had arthritis in my lower back in the facet joints. I believe Dr Formoso wants to do best by his patients. He did take a good hour with me to go over everything with me and years of wrong diagnosis. We are trying to get to the bottom of what is causing my pain other than slapping bandaids on it. I no longer want to take drugs and want to FIX the problem. However, his front desk lady at the East Park location is not a medical professional though she might think she is. She was judgemental and mouthy without prompt. Termination for behavior is sug

Horrible Experience.. Absolutely the most deplorable conditions/treatment.. Doctors are extremely rude as well as office staff.. I have had no issues at all in the last 8 yrs plus with Dr Formoso and staff. I have nothing but gratitude and thanks for them all . I went to him will many broken bones from my past that have come back to haunt me as I was told they would . My L4,5,and 6 , hip, pelvis, ankel . I have found relieve taken down from a 10 to a 5 at most .
