Dr. Franz Margono

I went to Dr Margono recently. I usually don’t give reviews however have to recommend hime.He is so caring ,patient and professional with everything. You will feel so well cared for! Definitely deserves 5+ star!

Terrible bedside manner to begin with, but he set me off by ignoring my wishes to wait on my 32 week ultrasound until my husband arrived. So, husband arrives, ultrasound is complete, no one is available to do a quick scan so my husband can see our first child, and no one cared that our feelings were deeply hurt. Would not recommend this office at all to anyone.

If you're going to this practice, this is by far the ultrasound doctor you should book with, as opposed to Dr. Watson. After a previous experience with her, we switched for our next appointment. Dr. Margano is very friendly, engaging, and patient. Like other reviews noted, he takes the times to get everything he needs. He would have five stars if he had reviewed my chart, we had to explain previous issues that had been seen. Otherwise, he was very comforting and I would recommend him.

Terrible bedside manner. Hadn’t looked over my records prior to the visit. Was dismissive of previous pregnancy losses. I did not feel at all respected, all while being in a very vulnerable situation getting an US. He talked down to regarding my concerns. He didn’t make any eye contact while talking with me, instead just looked at the computer and typed. I know that’s how doctors used to be, but these days most doctors ask if the patient understands and/or has questions.

I went to Dr. Margono today and he was excellent, very professional with great bedside manner. My Little man would not cooperate for some of the ultrasound readings...2 hours later into my appointment, Dr. Margono was able to get everything he needed. He was incredibly patient the entire time and was equally as excited as we were to see the entire anatomy scan. He was very positive, encouraging but most importantly, honest with thorough explanations.

Terrible bedside manner. While performing confirmation ultrasound discovered I had a missed miscarriage. Natural selection were the words he used to characterize the loss. He was aggressively pushing on the probe and my stomach during the u/s. He didn't explain anything and I had to tell my husband about the loss because the doctor didn't explain. He has no business working with expectant mothers when the news may be bad. Will never see either doctor at St. Peter's Maternal Fetal.
