Dr. Frederic M Goldman

Dr. Goldman has been my primary care physician for 10+ years, beginning when he was in a group practice. I then enthusiastically joined him when he opened his concierge practice, Wayland Personal Physicians. Two years ago my husband also joined the practice, with a number of serious health issues. Dr. Goldman is guiding us through these challenges by not only providing expert direct care, but also by coordinating with specialists on our care team. Dr. Goldman approaches all aspects of our care with compassion. He is very easy to talk to, and takes the time to listen. Our appointments sometimes last an hour. He is indeed available 24/7 and very responsive by phone and through an online patient portal. We have been able to get same-day appointments and have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. I am grateful to be able to put my trust in Dr. Goldman and highly recommend him and his congenial staff. This practice embodies what primary care should be. Marcy R

Me and my husband switched a year ago from MIT Medical to Dr. Goldman at the Wayland Personal Physcians. We are so happy with this decision. Now we can see our doctor when we need it, not waiting days or weeks like at MIT. Dr. Goldman is an excellent physican, very knowledgeable, his diagnosis is always right and besides he is always friendly. He takes time listening carefully to your problems. If a specialist is needed Dr. Goldman is finding the right one and schedule a visit. Communication with Dr. Goldman is wonderful, he responds very quickly to phone calls and e-mails. Staff at the office is also great, you have feeing that you arrived at SPA, it is so relaxing there... It's comforting to know experienced care is available on short notice not only from your PCP, but from the entire office. Having had a few serious situations arise this past year and getting immediate excellent attention is very much appreciated.

I was recommended to Dr Smith about four years ago. I had come to him with some health issues. Today these issues are very much under control and I am no longer on blood pressure medication. I've been a patient of Dr. Smith's for years and the experience I've had since he's opened his private office with his colleagues has been excellent. The team is responsive, the office space is immaculate, and the care is top-notch. I have always felt as though I was in good hands with Dr. Smith.

Although not a new concept, concierge physician care is on the rise in the ever-devolving world of healthcare. Initially, I had reservations about paying for this type of service, but now I don't know how I could return to "regular" primary care. Not only is Dr. Smith knowledgeable, approachable, helpful and friendly, he is a family man who proactively advocates for his patients' health. Having almost around the clock access to Dr. Smith and his great team, being able to schedule my appointments online or over the phone for just about anytime, not having to wait to hear back because the doctor HIMSELF responds so quickly to questions, and spending whatever time needed on my issues instead of rushing through appointments like an assembly line are just some of the benefits of concierge service at Wayland Personal Physicians (WPP). I recently switched from Mass. General (for 40 years) to Dr. Goldman at WPP. It was a good decision. I am over 70 and a proactive approach to my health is essential. Although my doctors at MGH over the years were all competent, they were hampered by the MGH beaurocracy. What was best for me individually didn’t seem to factor into decisions, as opposed to what was best as a matter of public policy. My MGH physicals were around 10-15 minutes; my first one by Dr. Goldman was more than an hour with multiple additional tests. He found a couple of things that seemed to have escaped notice at MGH. Dr. Goldman gave me immediate referrals to outside specialists to do a further investigation. Personally, Dr. Goldman is highly competent and thorough, immediately available, and is easy to talk to. He takes the time to get to know you and your medical condition, then enlists you in your own care to whatever extent you can help. This makes following his advice very easy. Aside from being a great physician who is well informed, experienced and very insightful, Dr. Smith truly cares about his patients. Not only does he take the time I need at my office visits to answer my questions and address my health issues-- he always makes time to just "check in" with me to see how I'm doing overall. I always leave the office feeling better about everything. Dr Smith has helped me to be optimistic about my health. He is quick to respond to my calls and emails and is always available to see me in the office. I feel as though the weight of managing my medical care is lifted off of me. I recently switched from Mass. General to Dr. Goldman at WPP. Although my doctors at MGH were all competent, they were hampered by the MGH bureaucracy and tended to make decisions based on public policy rather than what was good for me individually. My first physical by Dr. Goldman was more than an hour vs. the 10-15 minute MGH standard. Personally, Dr. Goldman is highly competent and thorough, immediately available, and easy to talk to. I have a very complicated medical situation that requires a great deal of coordination with other doctors, hospitals and experts. Having Dr. Goldman as a PCP is lifesaving. Whenever I see a specialist, they ask me: "How did you get him?!" because of his stellar reputation Clearly a reputation well-earned. he is always available in an emergency andf easily accessible on a daily basis. He advocates for services that I need and comes up with creative solutions to institutional obstacles. The best!

Have been with Dr. Goldman for a long time through several iterations of his practice... and can say without hesitation that his staff is terrific and that he is remarkably attentive, professional and thorough in every regard.

Dr. Frederic Goldman has a calm demeanor and is friendly, knowledgeable and sympathetic. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to discuss your medical issues and/or concerns. His medical and office staff are extremely personable. If you need to see Dr. Goldman on the same day that you call, they'll do everything possible to get you an appointment that day. You won’t find a more dedicated doctor anywhere.

Professional, friendly, spotless, and easily accessible. Schedule runs like clock work, with minimal time in the waiting rooms.
