Dr. Fredrick W Wicknick

I just spoke with the office receptionist who schedules for these physicians. I am a Critical Care retired registered nurse, and I was offended by the obvious lack of compassion, assistance, or manners of this receptionist/scheduler. I have found that when the front line staff are not kind, professional, helpful, or compassionate it's probably better to look for a different place to go. I will not be giving them my business. I see several reviews about bad follow-up communication after care. Perhaps lack of caring and communication in this office is the problem? My brother and I both got our wisdom teeth out here and it was great.. I had 4 full teeth and 2 half ones in there as well, no complications. Took about a week and a half for my mouth to heal up.

Good surgeon for wisdom teeth but bad at communicating what post-operation recovery looks like

Dentist very unresponsive post-treatment. Terrible chair-side manner. Doesn't wait until patient is numb to operate, in a hurry for next patient. Rude. Impersonal. Doesn't listen to patient. Superior attitude.

Great at explaining the procedure in advance and gentle and caring during! Highly recommend!

I'm not sure what I appreciate most: Dr. Wicknick's integrity, his ability to explain complex situations--and willingness to take time to do so; or the determination of Dr. Wicknick and his staff to advocate for pts. when an outside agency would leave them bereft. But I don't have to decide, because I received all the above, from Dr. Wicknik's letter to my medical insurer, to staffer Tammy's four (4) campaigns to compel an Ins. Corps' fair treatment.

Dr Wicknick is a most excellent dental surgeon, he explains everything that he is doing and completely calms his patients by his manner. He also was very gentle during the removal of my broken tooth. I highly recommend and thank him and his staff.

Dr. Wicknick is to me the best I have ever dealt with. He is so understanding, gentle. and explains everything and makes sure you understand. His staff is also great and you are definitely not just a number but treated like a friend. I would recommend Dr. Wicknick to any one who askes. 5 stars plus

Condescending, cares little about patients and was no help upon getting sick after surgery.
