The office took a week after applying for an appointment (LOL) that they are no longer accepting any new patients at this time. I suggest you don't waste yours'.

I think hand shaking should be discouraged between doctors / practitioners and their patients. Germs are spread by shaking hands especially in a medical setting where there are people with contagious illnesses.

Been seeing Dr. ROPER for 28 years. Very happy with his care.

Dr. Roper and staff have always gone above and beyond to provide excellent care for my mother and step-father.

I've been seeing Dr. Roper every six months since I moved here 3 years ago and never had any problems... Then, Erlanger took over... I scheduled an appointment on January 8th for today, February 18th at 10:30. At 10:15, I walk in the door and check in. Not a soul is in the waiting room but me. I have a seat and wait patiently for my name to be called. After several minutes, I am called to the counter. Long story short, the lady tells me that they aren't showing any appointments for me today, and not only that, but that I'm not showing as patient that's ever been there. After several minutes of rudeness on their behalf, trying to make it seem like I was a crazy person and was somehow at the wrong doctors office, Dr. Roper himself appears, saying hello and addressing me by name. I explained to him that they have somehow messed up my appointment. I love Dr. Roper, but these Erlanger folks dont know what they are doing and couldn't care less. I have NEVER, IN MY LIFE, been treated so unprofessionally. Needless to say, I left without seeing a doctor. Erlanger has, once again, ruined a once great thing. Look elsewhere folks! I've been seeing Dr. Roper every six months since I moved here 3 years ago and never had any problems... Then, Erlanger took over... I scheduled an appointment on January 8th for today, February 18th at 10:30. At 10:15, I walk in the door and check in. Not a soul is in the waiting room but me. Dr Roper is a very attentive doctor and handles a wide range of issues!! So happy to have found him and his office staff is great too! Does labwork right in his office so one stop for most issues! :D

I needed a re-fill on my Rx and I emailed the office and they promptly had contacted my mail order pharmacy within 1 day. This and the great manner of all the employees (front desk, blood work) goes a long way to make their patients feel really comfortable. Dr. Roper is worth the 30 min. drive to see him. Excellent!!!

Dr. Roper is a Christian and very dedicated to his profession. He and his staff are very polite and helpful. If you have a condition he cannot treat, he will make proper referrals.

Dr Roper is a very busy doctor. He is rushed. He is direct and get to the point of what is wrong 'today.' He keeps your records and does briefly review them. But, make sure you are keeping up with your health situation so as to know your own condition with your own set of records. His staff is busy as well. The overall feel of my visits to Dr Roper have left me with the knowledge that I must state my situation is as few words as possible . Putting it in writing is advisable with a copy for him and one for you, Know what I want from the visit-put that in writing as well. Ask few questions, If you want to discuss the situation further, make another appointment, Always leave his office and building post haste . Additionally, I have had multiple billing issues with his office. Therefore, you must keep documentation of what procedures he actually did and/or monitor the diagnosis codes attributed to your visit. But, Dr Roper is a physician in a rural area with much work to do and I am grateful for having access to a physician. I remind myself it is necessary to do my part to ensure I do not waste anyone's valuable time (his or mine).

Dr Roper is a very good doctor. He is caring and listens to what I have to say. He is very busy, though. It can be difficult to get medical advice quickly. I have had to go to the emergency room because he could not see me for a few weeks. However, this is due to the fact he is a good doctor and we live in a rural area where there are not many services. If he does not know how to treat your condition, he will give you a referral. He has treated me for many years and has not turned me away because I have many complex health issues.
