I have been seeing Dr. Harris, Sue, for several years. I think they are outstanding medical providers. The nurses have all been very nice. The pass year the receptionist does not answer the phone. Very difficult to get a scheduled appointment or any medical refills or any questions through the office since covid has hit. I think they are just slammed with sick patients they are having a difficult time keeping up. No fault of their own. I still think they are the best. I think they need to stop taking walk ins and work off of appointments only. Just my opinion. I still think they are great and I give them 5 stars. Harris, Sue & Mary Beth are great, but the front desk workers & their communication is horrible, they don't answer calls, they don't return calls from messages left.. Today I just washed a trip, for to the fact that it says walk-ins are welcome from 8a-11a then from 1p-4p, I get there at 2:45p to be told that I CAN'T be seen, go to the Pell City clinic it make an appointment for tomorrow.. ???? Friendly, clean environment. Dr. Harris and his staff made me feel very comfortable. I received excellent care. I would definitely recommend him!

An excellent Personal Physician with a great staff of professionals. He is NOT a "pill Dr." So don't waste your time or his if what you seek is dope.. He is a competent professional and will refer you to a pain management clinic IF he sees that you genuinely have issues managing your chronic pain. The new rules that allow physicians to see what Dr's you've visited and the meds you've been prescribed in the past helps aid Dr's in making such a decision. Dr Harris is a wonderful DR he's been our Dr for years and is 5 star all the way! Staff is nice and friendly and the office is always clean. I can not recommend Dr Harris enough.The only reason I give them 3 stars is due to never being able to get a call back to set appointments. Every time we have to scheduled an appointment we leave at least 3 messages in a week without ever getting a call back. I have to send my wife down to their office to even get an appointment. Even my home health care nurses end up having to go down there in person to get anything done. If they would fix this issue I will happily change my rating but it's been this way for years. Dr. Harri's staff leaves a lot to be desired.. very rude and seem to be very unhappy. No on ever answer's the phone and when you leave a message no one returns your call ever!! I changed my PCP because of the staff at Dr. Harris's office. The receptionist in the front that greets everyone is the rudest person I ever spoken encountered. My time and my healthcare are more important than having to endure their behavior...

Dr. Harris Love Him !

Dr Harris has been my primary Dr since 1996 & he is a fabulous Dr. Through many issues from severe car accident to degenerate bone disease & depression from losing my spouse. He has helped me in so many ways. I recommend Dr Harris!

This place is misleading to the public. They accept walk-ins and after waiting 3 Hours I was told that my prescriptions could not be filled without an appointment. So, I waited three hours, was seen by Dr. Harris after waiting 45 minutes in the exam room, and left being told to make an appointment to fill my monthly prescriptions. When I tried to make an appointment as I was leaving, I was told that I could see a lady by name of “Sue” next month (27 days). Wow. So sad how they treated me. Well on there message it says walk ins are welcome what it don't say is you don't get to see a doctor and you can't get any of your meds. Filled Without and appointment .So I just got off . 2 doubles at the railroad and had no sleep for 2 days sit in the waiting room for 3 hrs. Because my wrist was bothering me. I called the office 3 times to renew my meds like I had been doing for the last 10 yrs never got a call back and no one ever answered the phone to tell me there new rules. The nurse I had was not very nice and after she looked at it and told me what she thought I new it was not that but had to do blood test. Of course it came back not to be that. So I told her she had my blood she need to test it for something other than that and it would prove I needed my meds. She said oh I can't test for that. So I call form the room to get and appointment no one answers. I leave a message. Wait 10min call back again still in the room,get appointment tomorrow at 10:45 after I told her I was calling from a room in there office she ask me Why? That's what I said make me and appointment every 3 months for the next YEAR!!! Very disappointed!! I really like Dr. Harris and Sue but this was a hard pill to swollow! The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is so calming as compared to others. I didn't want to change my PCP but mine no longer accepted my insurance. He recommended Dr. Harris. I put it off for months. It got to the point where I had to go. So I made my first appointment, I took all of my meds along with a notebook of all conditions, surgeries and many questions. Dr. Harris was so patient with me. I hope I never have to change my PCP again. Dr. Harris is THE BEST!!

I found Dr. Harris to be very helpful. I inevitably seem to go armed with a mini-novel of questions, which he patiently answers. The office is always crammed (I think he's the only M.D. in Springville), but once he's in the exam room, his focus is on YOU. Staff could be more helpful. You cannot get anyone on the phone; you can only leave messages, and the last two times I called for information, no one ever returned my calls. However, I've been satisfied with Dr. Harris's care.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was obvious they knew what they were doing! Will be returning!
