Dr. George Morrison Young JR.

I have been a patient of Dr. Young for many years. He has always treated me with much kindness and respect. He has never rushed an appointment. One of his many qualities is that he wonderful listener and explains in layman's terms and in detail if necessary. He has amazing patience... meaning no question is stupid. It is rare that I have had to wait long to see him. If I had to wait, the quality of care would be well worth it.

I like Dr. Young and Carmen but trying to get a refill on meds is ridiculous. It generally takes me 7 to 14 days. The back office staff is a joke.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would give them negative 5 stars. These folks must have been the C & D students in school. Most of the clientele look like pill heads.. Daughter came down with walking pneumonia & being treated by her pediatrician. I stayed home with her for 2 weeks, then I got sick and Dr Young looked at me and said I think you have the flu even though I literally never left my house during the time my daughter was sick, who tested negative 3 times with her Dr. They do not do or have flu rapid tests here and he refused to even consider that I had caught pneumonia from my daughter or treat me for it. That was the last straw. 3 times in a row I was misdiagnosed by either Dr Young or the lady Dr that works there. QUACKS!!!!!!!! If I could give less than 1 star, I would give them negative 5 stars. Dr. Young has gone above and beyond for me. Not only is he my primary care physician, but helped a neck problem with physical therapy exercises. They also except BCBS which is my insurance carrier. 5⭐️

He does a good job I think he cares .but he has his nurse run the whole place.i was brought for physcitry they said u want us be your to primary too.two birds one stone.today I was dischard for no reason.i had major surgery was in rehab.long time after my pain meds came missing. I filled police doc gave me 3 days I got new doctor never had that happen I 59 he was all confussed but he help me get a new pain doc that made his nurse mad he descharged me . I would never recommend anyone to go to Dr. George M. Young. He misdiagnosed me and claimed that I had take additional medication along with getting blood work. I checked with another doctor for a second opinion as I was very skeptical with the information I was provided by Dr. Young. I was told by the second doctor I didn't have anything to worry about and I didn't need to take the medication recommended nor did I have a concerned with the medical diagnose provided to me as I was doing fine.

wait time is a little long but worth it. Dr. Young takes his time with every patient, you are not rushed In and Out. he actually discusses your complaints and concerns. WORTH THE WAIT

I use to see Dr. young at his old office now I see him at Coastal Plus Medical Center. He's a wonderful caring doctor who listens and cares about his patients.
