Dr. Gerald Allen Mayer

I was referred to Dr. Mayer in 2015. I said aloud I need to get my eyes checked and my accident attorney gave me his name. I have VSP and Federal BCBS and they take both. My eyes have special needs and once I articulate the type of work I do needing either primarily distance or reading work, he gives me an accurate prescription. I have only had to use the 30-day warranty remake on my prescription once because my work changed. They updated my prescription at no charge of course. Each year was better than the last and the pair of glasses I'm wearing as I write this review is from 2018. It works and it's not even my current 2019 prescription. Excellent. He knows his craft & tells you exactly what he is doing & doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He’s among the best & I would recommend him & do to all my friends & family members.

I love Dr. Mayer, I have been going to this office for over 10 years.

-0- stars.. I don't hate people like he does. He is rude and obnoxious with zero people skills. His receptionist is by far the most inept woman I've ever witnessed. He had a room full of people with glasses they ordered from him yet didn't fit, including bifocals. He actually had a hissy fit in front of his waiting patients. He and his receptionist are highly unqualified and should not deal with Medicare or any type of private insurance. Do not go there, run the other direction.

This place is a FRAUD. Don't believe anything your read. I left a very honest bad review for this office last week and it was removed. DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU READ. THIS PLACE SUCKS! MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS FILED!

This office is terrible. The office manager DJ waited until 15 minutes before my appointment to call and confirm. She was rude, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I have a disabled child who needed medical attention and we were treated very badly. I was very disappointed in choosing this facility and no longer have any dealings with this facility. It is amazing how low some people will stoop to protect a lie. This place provides terrible service and the deletes the bad review. Lack of integrity at it's finest. Don't trust them! There is a woman by the name of DJ that works here who claims to be the office manager. This woman is rude and very disrespectful. When I first made the appointment I was told that I would receive and email with all of the appointment info and that did not happen.
