Dr. Ginger Suzanne Goodchild

I have been going to Dr.Goodchilds office for years, and don’t think i’ll ever stop. She has definitely gotten busier, but has hired two NPs that can see you sooner if need be. When I talk to any of them I feel heard, and know they will do anything they can to help. Really Grateful for this office!

I love Dr.Goodchilds office! She has an amazing NP, Mrs. Brown, who is always on top of it and very helpful! They always listen to what I have to say, and they make me feel heard. cant recommend this office enough!

Hubby and I both saw Dr Goodchild for the first time this week. No wait…staff was thorough and Dr Goodchild took her time to acquaint herself with both of our medical histories! Impressive and comfortable practice????

Recently visited Dr. Goodchild as a new patient for my annual physical. This practice is phenomenal! Every staff member from front end to nurse to doc was exceptionally knowledgeable, efficient, kind, and helpful. The office is immaculate with many safeguards in place to keep at-risk patients healthy. Dr. Goodchild is a gem and a rarity - I have never had a physician spend so much time getting to know me, especially for a well visit. She clearly cares and the attention to detail and bedside manner permeates the entire clinical staff. It took a few weeks to get in as a new patient, but it was WELL WORTH IT! My dad was the one that turned me on to Dr Goodchild (he loved her) and I used her nearly the entire time I've lived in Granbury. She had always been great until she had a PA named John I believe who was extremely condescending and rude. She started to behave the same way. Never again will I use her and she should have monitored my dads heath conditions better. I've been seeing Dr Goodchild for 15 years. She's amazing. Some of these other reviews are shocking. Dr Goodchild has the best bedside manner and actually listens to me when it comes to my health concerns. She always answers my questions in a language that I can understand. These people complaining about perception refills blows my mind. I have to call her office monthly to get my meds refilled. The key is to call several days before hand...you can't call her and expect your meds the same day. She's a busy Doctor so give her break. I've NEVER had an issue getting my medications. If I could give Dr Goodchild a 10 star review I would...5 stars just isn't high enough for her. Dr Goodchild is amazing. She has the best bed side manner. Such a great doctor with a love for her patients!

I really like Dr Goodchild and her PA, Adriana Brown. Very professional, friendly staff. So happy with all my visits.

I am using Dr. Goodchild as my primary care doctor now. She has been wonderful to me and her staff has been very nice. I have referred several friends to her. She is not your run of the mill GMC doctor. She listens and is open to suggestions. Thank you, Dr. Goodchild.

If there were a 0... this would be the time to use it. This doctor is the reason i was in the hospital for a week... and now have a life long condition. Horrible follow up... takes no initiative in actually trying to be a doctor and help patients. Not to mention prescriptions. You have to call their office every single month, not just once either, to get your meds refilled. If they mess that up and get confused (almost always) they jus keep messing it up further. Right now I have 3 months of meds, which I need, but because they've screwed up the order so badly, now I cannot afford (they ordered 90 day supplies on all of them... just a couple of the meds pushes the amount due over 300$, which I simply cannot afford. Looks like another hospital and near death experience is in store for me due to this doctor's office staff. I believe the doctor is completely ignorant of what her staff is doing. I have talked to her 2 times since I started there over 2 years ago. She was surprised to hear what her staff had done and said at that point. This place is a disaster. If you do not want to get sick or sicker... stay away from this quack. Now I received a letter stating she has withdrawn from being my doctor. Lol I already had an appt to start at another pcp. She is fabulous! Has been our primary care physician for 11 years. She listens to her patients and answers all the questions. Never have had a problem with her staff.

They are so knowledgeable. And I like them so much more than my old doctor.

Took my grandmother in to visit this doctor and during this Covid19 pandemic, her receptionist wasn't wearing a mask and neither did the doctor the entire visit and repeatedly put her face in my grandmothers. A clinic visit with an elderly woman is no place to flex or flaunt your total disregard for the lives of your patients or push your political views at the expense of your patients. Not cool. Perhaps she should take her grandmother's life for granted on her own personal time and stopped putting other people's family at risk. Someone who has that much contact with sick people should be taking extra precautions.

Really confused why, during an epidemic, (Covid19) a doctor of medicine who sees numerous sick patients a day, would choose to not wear any kind of face covering when seeing her patients. It would be nice if she flaunted her political will on her own personal time during which she could also take her family for granted as well. Her receptionist also wasn't wearing a mask.

It is hard to say, the word Doctor' Where I grew up, doctor have so much to heart and care for patient and listen to their needs. Not any more.. To get my medications refill, I need to pay to get my medication refill. No understanding for being doctor.. very sad.. I explained my situation and she could not cares... still did not get my medication refill. My health is not going to change and why do I need to see doctor again. On the wall have sign say," Pharmacy to call don't need to come...they should take that sign off from the wall. Ah, I cannot talk to Dr. every time I call in. Always some one to be a middle person. I'm just sad with the world right now and have your dr. cannot help you when you need the most...shame !

She takes the time to listen and get to the source of your ailment. Great bedside manner. Very thorough.

3yrs and all I seen was p.a.s never met good child. Even getting prescription refill was always a problem. I have been on this prescription 10yrs. Carter was terrible.

Dr. Goodchild and A. Brown, NP were great!! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Listened and took time to really figure out what was going on. Highly recommend!!

Love DR Goodchild. It can be difficult to see her though. I like Adrian but prefer to see DR Goodchild. My husband has the same complaint as an earlier patient. He seen Adrian the PA and was with her for a very short time. I guess you would say he felt like he didn't get his money's worth. We have gone to Dr Goodchild for 10 years and don't plan on leaving. I have gone to Dr. Goodchild for over a decade, but I'm leaving because I sometimes have no choice but to see her physician's assistant. The current PA is not fit to practice at a facility that generally has high standards. The visit with the PA lasted approximately 2 minutes and was a complete waste of my time and co-pay. Goodchild herself would have never done this. It was a difficult choice to leave, but why should I settle when it comes to my health? Dr Goodchild is a good practitioner. The problem is one first has to deal with rude office and nursing staff to see her. I’ve finally decided no one should have to endure their treatment in order to receive care. I complained in writing and received no response.

Dr. Goodchild is an excellent doctor who treats all of her patients with respect. She always goes the extra mile to treat all of her patients with every tool possible. She has exceptional bed side manner with her patients. Her staff are absolutely the best.

The office staff is either lazy or incompetent, they're very friendly about it but now that I've actually gotten into a situation where I need a more communicative experience for coordination, they have fallen severely short. Took them a day and a half to return my call (I finally just went into the office after a day passed and got my return call hours afterward). Faxed in something they needed to fill out for a specialist THEY referred me to, and neglected it for over 2 business days. I'm done

Dr. Goodchild used to be great. But since her practice has gotten bigger her availability has gotten smaller. Her staff is extremely cold and not welcoming at all. If you need to get in quickly for whatever reason you will not ever be able to see her and you will be asked to see her physicians assistant John Carter. He is absolutely horrible, both my husband and I went in for sickness and all he wanted to discuss is used having sleeping issues, and we got no result from our reason for going in. Oh my!! I'm not sure these other reviews are for the same Dr. Goodchild my family sees. I was a patient of another Granbury doctor... and that was horrible! Dr. Goodchild is great!!!

Saw NP appointment with extremely severe back pain. NP told me to call if meds not working. Never returned my call. Pain unbearable and out of work 3 days. Call office everyday....Third day a call back with an appt w. Dr in 10 min. (In PAIN) Prescription from Dr Goodchild, on Friday, after 5 days of unbearable pain, helped me to function. Her referral to a neurosurgeon has not been done two days later. This office sure could learn some respect for patients and concern for their health!!!

Dr. Goodchild was engaged, thoughtful and discerning. She took notes, asked helpful questions and recommended, what we later learned, to be a wise course of action. I was particularly impressed that she spoke directly to my daughter and in another appointment, my son. She also quickly pulled up on the internet information on supplements they were taking to better understand how we were trying to remedy their health issues. We think her staff is amazing. Warm and caring. Highly recommend!

Dr. Goodchild has been out family doctor for about ten years. The care we have received from her has been outstanding. She is a warm, and caring person, with a more than adequate medical knowledge. Her computerized tracking of patients, enables her to look at health issues over an extended time, allowing her to see trends that can aid her in diagnosis of issues. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a primary care doctor.

Dr Goodchild doesn't know what was discussed and prescribed in my visits in only one week after they occur. She either doesn't make complete records or doesn't care enough to bother reading them. She also won't take phone calls and her staff is rude and easily confused when taking messages for her. She didn't help me with my illness and I do not recommend her for many reasons.

Dr. Goodchild was a wonderful, caring physician and I would still be going to her but I moved. I could talk to her easily and she took her time to answer any questions I had. Her staff was great! Dr. Goodchild also saw my elderly mother. One of her nurses lived close to where my mother lived with my daughter and she told my daughter if she ever need anything to let her know. My family appreciated that so much!
