Had a telehealth visit with Dr Hammons. He basically dismissed my experiences and medical history and gave me useless advice. Wish I didn't waste the money because I'll still have to go to another doctor to deal with my sinus infection.

This Man is the "worst" doctor i have ever met!!! He rushes you, talks over constantly, and will not allow you to speak. He also will not show his face on live visits!!! Live Health is what it is for!! He told me just go to a urgent care to see of they will help me for some moderate shoulder pains. I advised him that cost over $75 and the I reason I use I use Live health is for safety from covid etc. He said well you Live in the city just go to urgent care! This is the sarcastic person ever! And he told me no charge for the visit that was less than 5mins after holding 20mins and still billed me. Stay away from this doctor. I will be launching a formal complaint asap with Blue Cross!!

Used the Telehealth portal for my visit with Dr Hammons. His video didn’t work so it was by phone. He was extremely rude and condescending through the whole 5 minute visit. I had trouble hearing/understanding him as he sounded slurry to me. He accused me of having already called a doctor several days prior and being on an antibiotic however, that wasn’t true. He was very argumentative. Finally he realized that the medication he was referring to had been prescribed a year before. He lectured me on not have a primary care physician and said “I don’t know why a 59 yr old women with health conditions doesn’t have a primary doctor”. Argued with me about how I was getting the medications I am currently on like estrogen (ummm...hi, my gynecologist prescribes that). He ended up prescribing an antibiotic even though I have covid and an antibiotic does nothing for that. Appt was rushed and I didn’t feel good about his advice or what he prescribed.

I was in a virtual waiting room for Dr.Greg Hammons and patiently waited 40 mins. He came on and hang up on me. I reconnected again, his assistant mentioned he'd be with me shortly. Again, he came on and hang up. The third time, he bumped me to another doctor who turned out to be the very best doc one could ask for. Dr. Greg Hammons accessed my video the first two times before hanging up each time. I'm sure he saw a normal looking black female. The hangups were rude, and there was no IM or a quick email excusing this behavior or reasons for hangups. A message expressing something else that came up would have gone a long way. Dr. Greg Hammons - I suppose you got into medicine to make a difference in life.

I had a LiveHealth appointment with Dr Hammons tonight and I have never been treated worse. He constantly interrupted me and spoke over me. He dismissed all of my symptoms (I called about a migraine and ear infection), and questioned if I was telling the truth for the entire visit. He was rude and never even made eye contact with me. He then told me how could prescribe me nothing over the phone (which is what LiveHealth is for) and demanded I go to an urgent care for help. He even told me he would not diagnose me with a migraine until I got a BRAIN SCAN. This man took my money and wasted my time. He is the absolute worst Dr I have EVER been seen by, and I hope he stops practicing so that others have a real chance at being helped instead of seeing him.

This doctor is the most rude doctor I have ever seen. He wouldn’t refill my medicine, Vistaril, an antihistamine that I have taken for anxiety for 3 years, because he told me that I needed to go to a psychiatrist to get them to write the prescription instead. Said me asking him to refill it was “inappropriate” and would only write me 6 days worth of medicine in spite of me telling him the soonest appointment I could get was a couple weeks away. Then when I got to the pharmacy I found out that he had written the prescription for only 4 days. This was a Friday evening. So now I have to find and book and go to a psychiatrist appointment and fill and pick up my prescription all on Monday or else I’ll be out of medicine. He treated me like I was some kind of drug addict or like I was asking him to do something shady. He also wrote inaccurate information on my chart. I am appalled by this man and cannot believe he still has a license.

He is the rudest man I’ve ever encountered. For a doctor, he is unprofessional and it’s a miracle he hasn’t been sued. He told to go to ER for cough medicine and when I said no he refused to speak to me and transferred me to another doctor for an hour and 45 minuets. He’s an epic jerk who said I should demand the medicine I wanted from ER when he wouldn’t even listen to what I wanted let alone take a demand from me.

I did a LiveHealth visit with him. He was so rude. I felt like I was being interrogated about my condition and medical history. He accused me of lying because I had forgotten an antibiotic I had taken 6 months before (apparently he could see my prescription history). I have never been treated so poorly by a Dr. I actually called LiveHealth to make a complaint against him and I am sad to see his is still being allowed to see patients. I wish is could give no stars!

I had an AmWell phone visit the Dr. Hammons and it was a horrible experience. I had symptoms for a UTI and he told me he couldn't treat me for it because I probably did not have those symptoms. He told me I'd have to see another provider so I asked him if he was going to charge me for the phone consultation and he said absolutely. He is rude and very inconsiderate. I would not recommend him even if it's your last option because he still won't treat you!

I think the tittle Dr. is undeserved for this man. He was extremely judgmental, demeaning and completely useless. I specifically told him I had asthma and also completed the form prior to the online conference. He did not listen to any of my concerns nor did he read the form. In the middle of explaining how I felt , he tells me I should go to the ER and get my breathing check out because it sounds like asthma lol. By the way the camera was facing the wall the entire time. What a waste of my money!!!! HORRIBLE person!!!

Visited via LiveHealth - this was my first time. Physician did not show face and was not very kind or friendly. I mentioned the reviews on here and he adjusted his demeanor. Not sure if this is how these calls usually go but this was not a great experience. Ultimately thankful to get the medication I need but what an awkward and difficult way to get it.

Avoid Dr. Hammons if you are doing an online visit. He is rude and judge mental. He told me to go see a regular doctor and did not want to help me for allergy medication.

I had an Amwell video visit with Dr. Hammons. His camera was pointed at a wall during the entire consultation and he never showed his face. His demeanor was hasty, inconsiderate, and dismissive. He asked questions about my symptoms and medical history but would not wait for a complete answer before interrupting and making assumptions. As other reviewers have commented, he advises in a patronizing and judgmental way that overshadows any medical advice he gives.

Spoke with him on Amwell Call-a-doctor. I feel completely robbed. He was extremely rude and had no intentions of helping me. He didn't listen, didn't ask important questions and kept telling me to take medication that I experience an allergic reaction to. The write-up at the end of the visit was full of wrong answers for questions he didn't ask. He had no intentions of doing anything but collecting money.

Dr. Grant Hammons. Horrible bedside manor and put down my family. You should check him out for yourself! Absolutely astonished that a Dr could talk to his patients the way he did. I have never had a face to face Dr treat me with disrespect. I am forewarning you! Dr. Grant Hammons will cause more customers with negative experiences with your company! Tried on-line Doctor site - got Dr Hammons. I had a severe sore throat. Dr Hammons thought it might be Streep- insisted on a PHONE camera shot of inside throat. Sent 2 shots not good enough to even get any kind of prescription. A joke. Stay away from this guy. NEVER I’m my life did I leave empty handed without some help from a doctor. This doctor is just sitting around after hours sweeping in people’s money for no service. Stay away from him on-line.

He was mean, rude and judgemental. Didn't take more than a few seconds to talk to me, get to know me a bit. I was a new patient, and without properly examining me, he prescribed antibiotics. I will never go back and would NEVER refer anyone I love to him
