I love Dr, Greg Stern. He makes going to the dentist slight less miserable.

Dr. Stern’s office is a joy to visit. Not only is he a brilliant dentist he is a very kind person. We love the office staff who is very skilled and accommodating..

The best!

I came in as a new patient, worried that he would berate me or upsell a procedure as some dentists have in the past. Not only did he *not* do that, but he was very reassuring and compassionate. I 100% recommend Dr. Stern and will be going back for future appointments.

Dr Stern and staff are top shelf in every way. My family and I have been a client for 20+ years. The hygienists are thorough and gentle. The office runs efficiently - if you show up on time, you will be seen on time. I respect a person who respects my time! Never ever the hard sell — if you need it, trust me, you need it. No upselling or procedures you don’t need or want. No trying to sell overpriced, dubious products. Just a competent, kind, and ethical care. Every referral I’ve sent endorses the same response: Dr Stern is a dentist for life.

Great practice. Everyone is friendly, attentive and efficient. Dr. Stern is kind, honest and an excellent dentist.

I always have a great experience when I have an appointment with Dr. Sterns.He is very personable and caring. His staff is the best! They are very pleasant and helpful. The most important thing is I have always been pleased with his work.

Dr Stern has everything you are looking for in a dentist. I visited his office for several reasons - from minor cosmetic dentistry to tooth extraction and every time I leave the office with a huge relief. In concert with being the ultimate professionals, the doctor and his team are consummate human beings. One always gets a feeling of warmth and good fellowship. Indeed, I look forward to going to the dentist, to be under the superior care of Dr. Stern and his sure true crew.

Everyone is terrific here! Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Did I say friendly? Can't recommend them highly enough.

My first visit was amazing. I’ve never had a dentist spend so much time on my initial exam. Greg explained everything to me in laymen’s terms and made sure I understood everything. He is also very conservative about rushing to fix anything or rush to do unnecessary x-rays. Judy, the hygienist did an amazing job. My teeth are very sensitive so she made extra attention to that and was great. Eileen in the front office is also wonderfully helpful. An easy office to highly recommend!

I had a great visit with Dr Stern! I always feel that Dr Stern has my best interest at heart and gives me good advice. He is also meticulous and detail-oriented.

The first dentist I've ever visited who didn't try to push work before it was needed, Greg also has the gentlest, most contactful and patient manner anyone could want. His work is always top-notch. Terrific front-office and assistance staff.

I cannot express enough how fantastic, professional, compassionate and personable Dr. stern and team have been for me and my family (kids included) over many years. We are so grateful!

The best dentist, and dental office, in the city.

Dr. Stern and his staff are THE best of the best! I’ve never come across a more knowledgable, honest, precise, comforting, understanding, and empathetic doctor & team. I’ll continue to refer anyone I can to them because they are truly incomparable. Thank you for all that you do!

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Stern today. He is always honest and thorough and makes his patients at ease. His office was taking all the precautions during this pandemic and I felt safe and at ease during the visit.

I have been seeing Dr Stern for a long time after another dentist ghosted me during a dental emergency. I have followed him through a couple of office moves further from my home. The cleaning by Diane was excellent —thorough but quick. Dr. Stern always stops by for a consult and to look over your teeth and gums. If you have concerns or want more done, you have your dentist right there.

Whether it be a scheduled cleaning, or today when I had a chipped tooth bonded to perfection, every visit to Dr. Stern’s office is nothing short of wonderful! I am NEVER anxious about working with anyone in his office, as everybody is so professional, thorough, and above all, genuinely kind. Thank you to Dr. Stern and all of his lovely staff who make, what could be a very stressful event, smooth and seamless. You’re all deeply appreciated by me, and I am sure, many many others.

I actually had 2 different people refer Dr. Stern by name. Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with him and his entire team's attention to detail and their friendliness. I have been a patient of Dr. Stern’s office for many years. Excellent attention to all details. Judy is my hygienist and took great care in making sure everything was Covid safe. Friendly and thorough! And Dr. Stern is always thorough, friendly and professional. He takes the time to explain and follow through. He is always available in emergencies. I had an urgent need and I was seen in less than 24 hours. Very informative and I am already set for the work to be done. Very careful care and precaution taken in the COVID environment too. I am looking forward to becoming a long term patient!

Dr Stern and his staff are the best!! I lucked out working next door to them in Santa Monica for years, getting to know them as neighbors and as a patient. They’re all super nice and professional. They were very gentle with me and dealt better than most with my terrible gag reflex. I continued on for a bit after their move to Westwood but the drive became too difficult after I also moved further away. I appreciate them sooo much more now since I’ve moved out of the area and am stuck searching for a new dentist!! I only wish I wrote my review sooner. I highly recommend Dr Stern. I had a wonderful experience with the doctor. He explained everything along the way - step by step. It was such a difference from my last dental experience. He did my first crown and made me feel very comfortable and did an excellent job.

Very pleasant, highly professional and altogether re-assuring. We - my wife and I - were new patients and the first to arrive after the clinic had reopened following the Covid-19n shutdown. It cannot have been altogether easy either for Dr. Stern or his superb staff. Our sincerest thanks to all of them.

An excellent dentist! That is the best way I could describe him and I’ve been going to his office since 2011. he is very thorough in terms of what he does with his craft as a dentist. He never leave there feeling like the work was not done right. Professional through and through and always does an amazing job and the staff is amazing as well. I highly recommend him after being one of his patients for nine years now.

It’s so rare to find anyone who is fair. Dr. Stern has been taking care of our family forever, and he never recommends a procedure that is not necessary. Nothing is frivolous. If it can wait, he’ll let you know. I usually sit in the chair and wonder how it is that these days anyone can afford to be honest. All I can say is that he has an extremely wide and loyal patient base. That must be enough. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Stern for several decades now and at various times in that period have had to drive across town to see him. But it was worth it. He's one of the best on the business. Prompt, friendly, highly skilled and professional. I highly recommend.

So i had a HUGE cavity on my molar and i was afraid to get a crown yet when im still in my 20’s. So Dr. stern removed all of decay and recreated one of my tooth basically. He does care about his patients genuinely. So thankful he took care of my tooth so wonderful! The best dentist for sure

Best dental practice in the city, without exception. Love everyone here.

Dr. Stern is an amazing dentist. He's honest and kind and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. I felt like he really cared about my teeth and he gave me the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. The staff and hygienists are also wonderful. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sterns for years. His work is excellent, and his staff are wonderful! I joke with them that I love going to the dentist now, and it’s true, I do! In the past, going to the dentist was never very pleasant, even though the dentists I went to were competent, but when I found Dr.Stern, he did such excellent work, and his staff took such great care of me, that I knew I’d found a dentist I could put my full confidence in. The office environment is warm, very friendly, and upbeat. The space itself has beautiful views and is very pleasant to be in. The same staff have been there for years, and as the adage says “the work environment is as healthy or unhealthy as the person at the top”, well this environment is super healthy and high quality. I can’t recommend Dr. Stern enough! In my opinion (and experience) he is the best dentist ever!

My friend recommended Dr. Stern’s Office long time ago and wished I listened to him sooner. My first visit was fantastic ... Eileen, Sally , and Cornelia were super nice and took the edge off that I was feeling. Dr. Stern was patient and kind. He explained options and kept things simple for me. I drive an hour each way, passing dozens of other dentist offices, to go to Dr Stern because he is the best dentist I've been to. Hands down. Dr Stern has the most current equipment and knowledge, and is a super pleasant guy to visit. Eileen works scheduling magic up front, Judy polishes your teeth to perfection, and Cornelia is a smiling face at Dr Stern's right hand that will keep you comfy even when you're having major work done in there. Dr Stern and staff empower you to maintain your dental health and clean, sparkling smile. Can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Stern has been my dentist for decades. He has gone above and beyond to help me when needed. He cares deeply about his work and his patients. Dr. Stern and his staff work consistently to provide a pain free dentistry environment. Some procedures can be quite difficult and are prone by nature to be uncomfortable but over the past many years of visiting Dr. Stern I can't recall experiencing any pain during or after my appointments. Dr. Stern and his staff seek to make each visit as pleasant as possible. I feel their concern for my comfort. They're the best!

I have been to Dr. Stern’s office over six times for diagnosis, fillings, crown, and cleaning and presently implants. In sixty years of going to dentists, I have never experienced such a high level of meticulous care, exacting thoroughness, and an elevated level of competence and concern. Dr. Stern has been our family dentist for 20 years. He is a fantastic dentist. He is so talented, yet honest and professional. He puts so much pride into his work. I am extremely pleased, and very happy to recommend his practice. Every member of his staff is delightful. It’s nice to have a dentist you trust. My kids are in High school and college, and he has seen them since they were 4 years old. He educated them about dental hygiene when they were in kindergarten. Such a great guy! Dr. Stern, Judy and Eileen and the team are extraordinary. Dr. Stern and his staff actually care about their patients and take the time to talk to you about you heath. They explain all procedures in a way that is not frightening and use care to do an amazing job. I have never been to a dentist where I felt more cared for and comfortable. Eileen is always reminding me of appointments in the best way possible. The new text reminders are wonderful and it is always easy to schedule at a time that works for me. Judy is my favorite and remembers me every time. I do not write reviews but this team is exceptional. Don’t hesitate with this dentist, I am a huge fan!

Dr. Stern and his office member are great. They are very friendly, accommodating, and professional. The dental hygenist was very gentle and thorough. She allowed for a very pleasurable experience. Dr. Stern is a perfectionist, and it shows in everything - his work, his attitude, his staff, and the way his office is run, which is like a Swiss clock! Hands down, the best experience ever!

Great People, Great Skill, Great Service! We've been going to Dr. Stern for over 15 years and always tell people we know about him. We've had cleanings, cavities filled and my SO had a major implant after a failed root canal from many years ago.
