Gregory M Swank

Dr. Swank was very fast but was not friendly even in the slightest. He was honestly quite rude. The nurses are very friendly though and did take the time to answer the question he ignored on basic patient care. I would not send my family or friends to him.

If you are rude to staff in front of patients, I don't care how "great" of a doctor you are, I don't want you working on me. I saw Dr. Swank yesterday because I have a cyst on my back I'd like removed. He looked at the cyst, noted it was inflamed and said I needed to take an antibiotic before having it excised. He looked at the nurse and said, "Keflex". She kept looking at him until he finally said, "Why are you looking at me like you have a question?.... Keflex, 500mg, 3 x's/day, 10 days." The nurse just smiled and said thank you, that was what she needed. He left the office and the nurse asked me what pharmacy I use and was typing that in when the dr poked his head back in the door and said, "What are you doing?" She told him she was finishing up with me. "It just seems like you're taking a long time" and then he looked at me and said, "I ride them really hard around here".... there's no way it had even been 3 minutes since he left the room. He was talking to her with a familiarity as if she were his daughter- it was very unprofessional. I ended up asking 3 different staff members, "Is he nice to ya'll?" To which they answered, "He's a really good Doctor.", "Sometimes, but he's a great surgeon", and "He's a great Doctor. He has his moments when he can be very compassionate and generous." If someone acts generous to make up for verbally/emotionally abusive behavior, that's not being a good person, that's manipulation and hoovering that a narcissist does. And management saying, "He's a really good doctor" in response to his rude treatment of staff is like saying, "He's a good doctor, so we let him abuse other employees". Nope. Yuck. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DR!!!!!! He completely botched and deformed a family member after performing a surgery. No bedside manner, not ethical, and not apologetic of what my family member has gone though. He should NOT be practicing medicine and will hopefully get his license taken away soon.

I was nervous, trying to explain what I needed. Dr. Swank put me at ease immediately. I found his surgical skills superb. He showed a real concern for my needs, he was light-hearted, and stayed focused on the issue. Dr. Swank also asked me if I'd like to see some of my pictures. I did and he explained them very clearly. Really appreciate dr swank and his staff. He was very straight to the point, but I liked that. I could tell he had my best interest at heart. Would recommend him to family and friends.

Although having melanoma removed and a good size hole cut in my heel is never a good thing but thanks to the staff Dr Swank and staff and Dr Jessica Curtis-Yount and staff the experience I had Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology Was amazingly pleasant. I never had to wait when I arrived for my appointment. The staff was very caring and helpful. Love this place. Thank you

Although it's never fun or exciting to have melanoma and have a good size hole cut in your heel, my experience at Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology has been very pleasant thank to Dr. Swank, Dr. Jessica Curtis-Yount and all their staff. They have Been super nice, very helpful and caring. I never had to wait for my appointment. I am 100 percent happy with Dr. Swank and his staff. Thank you.

The doctor was very kind.

Dr Swank performed a procedure he had no experience with and did zero research. He left me slightly deformed and when I asked for it to be rectified he said “He no longer does the procedure”. Stay away from this hack.

Words cannot express how pleased I am with Dr. Swank and his staff. I have always had one breast significantly larger than the other which made me very self conscious as a young woman. He repeatedly informed me they would never be exactly the same but he would make them as close as possible. After surgery, My breast are now symmetric and I feel comfortable in my own skin. I can wear the same cup bra!!! Thank you for everything and I will forever be grateful.

He was very rude to his staff in front of me...first time seeing Dr Swank..he didn't explain what to expect before he remove my cancer from my arm..he just rush in the room, did the procedure..talk to the nurse very hateful..and out the door.

He and his staff are very efficient. I was in and out within a reasonable time. I also had an issue where i messed up my bandage and when I called I was able to see one of his staff members within an hour. Great from the second I called in to the moment I walked out the door. An extra thanks to Maryanne who answered the phone and did not get annoyed with my ramblings.

He put a patch of skin over my cancer and it looks great. Did not have to wait all day and his nurse wasn't bad to look at.
