Excellent inciteful & compassionate professional with easy going nature that underlies his keen analytical intellect

A sensitive and caring therapist who has helped me and my family.

Dr. Altman has the ability to make sense of and use emotional rambling and mental chaos to figure out the direction that best fits his patient. He has always been supportive of what he truly thinks is best for me, and it is clear he genuinely cares about my well being. As for the negative review, 1 star is for a therapist who doesn't care about his patients, not Dr. Altman. Don't trust someone with nothing constructive to say. We need to be allotted more characters for these reviews.

I believe he spends an inordinate amount of discussing topics of his own intellectual curiosity rather than drilling down on a patient's issues. In my experience, he does not provide any clear roadmap for improvement or specific goals that a patient can seek to achieve. I found that he does not seek insight into the cause of, or solution to, a patient's problems. Rather, I believe he is simply interested in having a light conversation with the patient, which I do not believe yields results.

Dr. Altman has a great amount of patience and dosen't capitulate until he has helped his patient. He Specifically helped my son and now he has a social life.
