This is the first time that I give a negative review to a business, but after witnessing here preposterous behavior of an unlettered individual, I am compelled to give such a review in this case.

Excellent care and follow-up. Everyone was professional, competent, helpful, and kind.

This was my first root canal and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Dr. Grote was extremely pleasant and very relaxed. I felt zero pain during the procedure and the recovery was easy and painless. If you need a root canal I highly recommend.

Dr Grote showed a lot of compassion in my time of need

Dr. Grote’s customer service and assistance is wonderful to say the least.

I was pretty nervous about my first root canal but dr. Arif was so compassionate, calm and knowledgeable - he even let me choose music (some chill lofi hiphop) while he did the procedure - very relaxing and fast! Definitely recommend!

I came to Dr Arif after my general dentist could not get my tooth to numb and they recommended me to go somewhere with laughing gas. At my consultation Dr Arif explained how the anesthetic works and what he will do. On the day of my procedure Dr Arif numbed me, tested the tooth which was a little sensitive and applied a little more numbing. After that I felt nothing through the whole treatment. Very grateful for a painless andy less stressful experience at this office. I would highly recommend them for any endodontic work. Wow! My mother had a cracked tooth that was causing her extreme pain. She needed emergency care. Dr. Grote and his team opened the office just for her on their day off. We can't thank them enough for their warmth and compassion.

Great staff that truly cares about their patients.

Friendly and courteous staff as well as doctors. Dr. Grote is wonderful and very thorough.

My experience was very pain free. Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. His patience was outstanding. I have a hearing problem and he was very kind.

Dr Grote and his staff were exceptional throughout the entire process of my root canal procedure. He was very thorough, explained the options clearly, and they were able to complete the entire procedure from exam to completion in a single visit.

After having several very unpleasant experiences with root canals, I am so pleased to say I had this procedure without any pain at all. Another issue I had was the length of time sitting in the chair with my mouth open. I was in and out in an hour with some of that time with paperwork and prep. The technician was super awesome and Dr. Arif was very professional. He warned me that an extra nerve would take a little longer, but it wasn't long at all. I won't be as anxious if I have to go again. Highly recommended! The staff at the office were very professional and diligent in their work. Dr. Arif was wonderful. He explained everything easily and provided the best dental experience Ive had in one of the most painful conditions. He did everything with ease and was very gentle and caring. I was in a lot of pain from a broken tooth and was referred to Dr. Arif for a root canal. At first I was a little skeptical as it was my first root canal experience, but Dr. Arif and his assistant Liz made my time there one to remember for life. I told them I was in a lot of pain when I came in and they helped accommodate what was helping the pain (fresh cold water) by time the procedure started I felt and they were so gentle that I took a nap while in the chair lol. Otherwise I went from an 11/10 to a 0/10 in pain after procedure. Rates are awesome as I paid out of pocket. If any other dental problem come up. These are the guys to talk to. I give the highest recommendation to Dr. Grote and his staff. I had an unbearable dental situation suddenly emerge while visiting from out of state, and it was determined that a root canal was required. It was 2 days before Christmas, so who was going to do the procedure on such short notice, and immediately before Christmas? Dr. Grote took me in as his very last patient before closing down for the Holiday. He and his staff were wonderful, and the procedure went well. He literally “saved my Christmas”! My first root canal and hopefully last. But Dr. Grote and his staff were really amazing. They took me step by step through the process. Hopefully I won’t have to have another root canal, but if I do I will for sure go back to Dr. Grote.

Needed a root canal, my main dentist referred me to them and they were able to get me in next day ❤️ on top of that, everyone was so kind and explained everything clearly. I was out in less than 2 hours from entering the waiting room to being in my car. While I hope to not need extensive dental work in the future, I will be coming back if that day ever comes. Highly recommend! Dr. Arif was thorough, caring, and patient in explaining the procedure and answering all my questions and concerns for the root canal surgeries. My two root canals were done professionally and it was very relaxing and comfortable during the surgeries. Dr. Arif was also prompt in answering my questions outside of business hours in regard to post surgery discomfort. His assistant Liz was very helpful and gentle. What a positive experience! I was able to quickly schedule my root canal. This was my first one and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Arif and his assistant were very informative about the procedure and asked if I had any questions. I mentioned I felt a bit of pain a couple days earlier during the attempted filling. He was able to get the area extremely numb. They even made me laugh a couple of times during the procedure! Who can say they felt relaxed enough to chuckle during a root canal?! Dr Grote is so personable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience with his office, He even checked another issue I was having with a tooth without hesitation. Will definitely go back if the need arises.

Had a horrible experience here. I don’t normally expect too much tact from an endodontist, but Dr. Foreman was condescending on another level. Would not recommend at all. Next time I need work done I will be looking for someone much more professional in manner.

I just experienced my first root canal procedure this week.I approached it with a little fear and trepidation, even at my mature age of 66. My dentist Dr Greg Martin referred me to Dr Grote and his team. My experience was could only be described as perfect. I know, calling this procedure perfect, well it was. At every step from my arrival, I felt the focus and care. Explaining all steps of the procedure, the actual work and the clear direction of post care. As I walked out of the procedure, I felt confident I was in the path to heal and resume a pain free normalcy. I was seen for a repair of a root canal that had been done 25 years ago.( Not done by Dr. Grote) Dr. Grote explained all my of options, cost and possible out comes. A course of treatment was confirmed. Two appointments, about a month apart, and all was completed. I went in with a considerable amount of discomfort. After my first visit, no discomfort. My second visit for root canal. I am glad I was able to see Dr Grote again . The degree of caring that he and his staff have is exceptional. From the check in to the prep and initial review with Dr Grote and the procedure the entire staff was great and made sure I was comfortable and my questions and concerns we addressed. During the procedure I was so comfortable that I sat in the chair completely relaxed. I really liked the foam neck pillow they used. I am a patient of Dr. Grote and because of the exceptional care that I received ten years ago, I requested another referral to the same office. While I do not remember the extreme pain that precipitated the first visit, I remember the care and concern that greeted me. This most recent root canal was not an emergency, but the care and ambiance was identical. Soft music, calming tones, gentle approach, and a team that work in sync is what I carry away from an otherwise potentially frightening visit. I just had a root canal done by Dr Foreman, and am as happy as could be, considering that I just had a root canal done. I had some decay under a crown that went close to the nerve. My dentist removed the crown and tried to clean up the decay, and despite literally a dozen or more shots of lidocaine (if that's what they use), couldn't completely numb me. (I'm typically hard to anesthetize.) He referred me to Dr Foreman for the root canal, and I was a bundle of anxiety. Dr Foreman reassured me we wouldn't go forward unless I was not only numb, but also worry-free about it. Somehow he was able to get it completely numbed (still, a handful of shots were required). I appreciated that he told me everything that he was doing, and about to do. (He even checked IF I wanted him to tell me what was going on.) His chair-side manner was calming and confidence-building. He managed to squeeze two appointments into one, and even put a filling on so that all that remained was to go back to the dentist to get a crown put on. His assistant Morgan was very nice and helpful - they worked well together. This was my second visit - Dr Foreman had previously done an extraction, which also went quite smoothly and I was very pleased. If you have insurance, they do require you to pay for services, but they file your insurance paperwork and you get reimbursed directly from your insurance company. They said if the company wouldn't cover the entire cost, they would file with my secondary (main health insurance) in case they could cover the remainder. Overall, I am quite pleased. And hope I never need to go back :-) I just had a root canal done by Dr Foreman, and am as happy as could be, considering that I just had a root canal done. I never ever go out of my way to write reviews, especially not for doctors but I seriously cannot say enough good things about this endodontist and staff. I'm a student at the University of Illinois and knocked out my front tooth during a rough fall. Having a dental emergency like this so far from home was terrifying, especially since I'm a huge baby when it comes to the dentist. After seeing an emergency dentist and hearing I needed a root canal I did a quick internet search that led me here. The reviews were great and I decided to give them a call. They allowed me to stop in that same day to drop off my x-rays and Dr. Foreman looked at me right then and there. They quickly scheduled me for a root canal the very next day. I went in alone and scared but Dr. Foreman and the rest of his staff made it the most comfortable and painless experience for me. He talked me through the whole thing, constantly making sure I felt okay and comfortable. Knowing I wasn't from the area, him and his staff worked together to find me a general dentist in the area to finish up the tooth as quickly as possible. They made multiple calls and helped me out in more ways than I would ever expect them to. I could not recommend someone more than Dr. Foreman and the staff at his office. Not only are they all incredibly skilled in what they do, but they are truly caring and compassionate people. Dr. Foreman and his assistant came in on a Saturday morning when they are normally closed to take of my husband who had an abscessed tooth and was in extreme pain. They were both wonderful! The tooth was too damaged to do a root canal so he pulled the tooth. They were so thorough with the examination and very good at explaining everything. We were extremely pleased with our experience and very highly recommend them! Dr. Foreman had to deal with a very difficult root canal on my upper back molar. He did an excellent job and ultimately saved my tooth that could have ended up being extracted. He was very patient with the whole process which included the root canal as well as surgery on the palatal side of the tooth to expose a problem area. He and his whole staff made the process painless and efficient. I thank Dr. Foreman and his staff for their professionalism and expertise in dealing with my problem tooth. Dr. Foreman and his staff are absolutely phenomenal! They worked me in for an emergency root canal and from the first phone call to me filling out paperwork to x-rays to the actual root canal, they treated me with great compassion, were so patient, eased my extreme anxiety, and Dr. Foreman did everything possible to keep me comfortable and aware of what he was doing Dr. Foreman followed up with a call in the evening to ensure I was recovering well.
