It Is Always Good.

I amputated a portion of my thumb and went to Evergreen medical ER, Dr. Salemi was the on call Dr. He was nice and personable but I seriously question his experience with trauma. After cauterizing the wound to stop the bleeding he dressed the wound with regular gauze instead of a non stick bandage, against the prodding of the nurse and myself and said it wasn’t needed. of course when cleaning and redressing the wound the next day it had to be soaked to be removed and the cauterization was for nothing, it immediately started bleeding again. His instructions were to follow up in 1 WEEK with my primary to get a referral to a specialist for surgery. I followed up the next day and my primary got an appointment with a hand surgeon in 2 days. I also had to go back to the ER to have blood drawn because he somehow stuck the nurse in the finger with a needle while working on me. I don’t think this was very professional.

Dr.Salemi is a very knowledgeable doctor, that is this first I've ever seen that actually listens to your medical concerns. He will make sure you understand what your diagnosis is and tries to make sure you are getting the proper treatment. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr.salemi is the only dr.around our area as far as I'm concerned that actually cares about his patients.myself and my children use him. The only thing I would com0lain about is the time it takes to get to the back to be seen. But he does have a lot of patients .and he doesn't rush through your app t he actually takes time to listen and talk and explain .
