Dr. Herbert Silverstein

I came to see Dr. Silverstein because I have ringing in my ears. Dr. Silverstein said almost nothing during our appointment. I saw him for about 5 minutes before he shuffled out awkwardly. During the time I saw him, he tried to sell me some music and told me not to put cue tips in my ears. Over the next few appointments, I went through a bunch of tests he ordered that were very expensive. I went to see another doctor who told me the ringing in my ears was from working in a factory and that I needed hearing aids. What a waste of time.

Short blunt and uninformative.

I was very fortunate to be able to secure an appointment with Dr. Silverstein (himself) when I was told when I called as a new patient that “Dr. Silverstein has a cancellation tomorrow!” I had gotten water in my ear while I was in our pool . It had gotten infected. I had seen an MD who prescribed antibiotics. They worked but I wasn’t totally convinced I was 100%. Since my wife raved about Dr. Silverstein, his status & his knowledge, I was thrilled to be able to see the top man in the industry. As a former radio talk show host I had interviewed stars. When Dr. Silverstein walked into the exam room I stood up out of respect. Dr. Silverstein proceeded to examen me and discussed many aspects of my ear and hearing. He didn’t rush and was extremely detailed. He gave me a good bill of health and removed wax from one ear. He also set up a comprehensive two-hour hearing test. All I can say is I felt extremely confident that I had seen the #1 ear Doctor who has the most experience of anyone.

Was diagnosed with menieres disease. Dr. put through extensive audio and balance testing and stated he wanted to perform his microwick procedure. We traveled from West Pasco County several times. One month later, on the date his office scheduled the procedure, my husband took the day off from work to drive me to my appointment and look after me. Upon arrival, the doctor then advised he now the menieres had gone too far did not advise the microwick bcuz it might not heal. He needs to retire

I’m a 61 year male ( Jack McGuire) and have visited many doctors over the years. I had my first visit with Dr. Herbert Silverstein and his staff today and was totally blown away with how unbelievably wonderful and professional they treated me. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was so happy to have met this wonderful man and see all the good he has done for people. “He Cares about people” and has built a top notch practice. Keep up the great work Thank You. Professional and upmost caring.

Very professional, sharp individual.

what a horrible experience. I had been sick with ear pain for over 3 weeks and got right in to see him...now I know why..no one would ever go a second time...he had no answers except I should take Xanax to cure all along with his own ear wash solution...left in tears feeling even worse than when I went in. I have been a nurse x 41 yrs and was appalled. He might of been great in his day but his days are long gone. He couldn't even figure out if his nasal scope light was on...OMG...only in Florida
