Dr. Himanshu Patel

He is a despicable man and a sorry excuse for a doctor. It is an embarrassment that he belongs to the health care industry.

I cannot believe how Dr Himanshu is running his practice as a Doctor. I took my kid for cough/cold/fever and he made us come Three times just to get his money every time in three weeks and still the symptoms did not subside. He was blaming my wife that she does not know how to take care of kids and making fun of me being fat. He is very cynical, unprofessional and his doctor practice is all around collecting money not helping kids and their families. Inshallah, he will learn being a good doctor one day.

Horrible Doctor and horrible experience we had with Dr. Patel. He made us visit him several times with the newborn child for no reason at all. That’s how he makes money nowadays. He hardly spend more than five minutes with the child and doesn’t interact with the child in any way. He is extremely rude and oversmart and flaunts about his degree coz that’s all he has. I would give him a 0 star and would request all parents to be careful in dealing with him and please stay away from him. He is rude, mean and doesn’t know what he is doing. His method of treatment is very old and doesn’t exist anymore. He treats the child as money machine and doesn’t really care about their well-being.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to Dr. Patel as he was the on call doctor. He was either drunk or half asleep. Had no idea what day it was and his only response to my daughter’s 103.9 fever was take her to the ER or wait until Monday if I can. When I asked him which one it is that I should do he said well that’s a high fever so the choice is yours! What a horrible experience for a parent to have to rely on someone that clearly doesn’t care about his job and the kids! 0 stars for him!

We have been taking our kid to Dr. Patel for last 4 years now and are extremely happy with his way of treatment. He tries to avoid use of antibiotics which the best part and answers all the queries we ever have. Even if we call and leave msg after hours, we receive a prompt response. Thanks you Doctor.

This guy has no manners and is not worth your stress

I have never seen such an rude staff. They really need to learn how to attend the patient. They dont care they you are caring an infant. Only thing matter for the doctor is money. Horrible staff & horrible doctor

I would give zero stars if I could. This doctor is extremely rude and impatient with children and has an awful bedside demeanor. Stay far away.

Dr.Patel has been caring for my children from past 17 years and he has gone above and beyond to take care of my children during their illness and I couldn't be more happier. He has always taken time to listen to our concerns and has treated my children where the other doctors have refused. I have to mention that the scheduled appointments are always on time and prompt call back from the doctor when requested.

Dr Himanshu Patel is the ped. for both our 6 month old son and 4 year old daughter. There is a method to what he does and how he does it. If you are looking for a ped. who will prescribe meds for your child so as to bring you mental comfort; then he is not the doc you are looking for. Dr Patel always ensures that a child's condition warrants meds before prescribing one. He is direct, blunt and bares no bones but he is the ONE whom we can trust when it comes to our children's health and welfare.

Dr. Patel has been our primary Pediatrician for all 3 of our kids, for 14 years. He has always been courteous, trustworthy, good listener, great at explaining health issues, and following up on health issues.

We visited this Dr's office with an appointment for my child as he had a severe Caugh and high fever. The rude, unfreindly staff asked to fill out a form and asked to provide previous medical history as a pre requisite. We had the file and gave them. We filled out the form and were waiting for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the lady asked me to provide my SSN. I said, sorry, I don't give SSN to anyone except fot mortgage company. The staff was so rude and declined to let us see the Doctor. We had to go home back with the sick child. I have never seen such CHEAP minded people who did not allow the sick child to see the Dr, who was waiting for so long by demanding SSN. Very un-professional and looks like some money looters from patients and they definitely have some criminal intention to get SSN from parents. They think, we are stupid to provide SSN to see a Dr. Never recommend anyone to go to this Dr's office. Your identify may get stolen soon if you start visiting this Dr's office by giving your SSN.

We went to this Dr's office in North Brunswick location with an appointment because my child had a severe caugh, cold, vomit and heavy fever. The staff gave the forms to fill out, we filled them all. They asked all medical history as a pre-condition. We had the file and gave to them. They took all the copies. They made us wait for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the staff, asked me to provide my social security number. I said no, sorry. They refused to visit the Dr andwe hadtotakethesickchildback

Dr. Patel is very rude. He was not always like this. He WAS the pediatrician for my children. He is not there for the betterment of his patients, from his recent demeanor. He seems to care more about money than the reputation of his practice. Stay far, far away!

Very unprofessional doctor and staff.

Dr. Patel has been a great doctor for our kids for more than 10 years. He provides detail guidelines on how to care for kids when they are ill, he treats them like his own kids and he is always there when we need him & follows up. His staff is excellent as they ensure our appointments are kept, insurance follow ups and proactive health reminders.

Dr Patel is pediatrician for both our daughters since 1998. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor, he gives the advice and treatment as if he is treating his own kids. No excessive anti-biotic or medication and always sound advice even if sometime it doesn’t feel good but always right advice and that’s what we expect from a doctor

Dr Himanshu Patel is an excellent doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
