Dr. Hugh Lee

I went in with a broken tooth and a tooth ache. I am wanting to get dentures and I was given an estimate for 10k. I went home still hurting and went over the estimate and called back with what I wanted done. I asked if he would pull all teeth in 1 day and he said no it would be in Quadrants. I got the feeling he didn’t want to treat me unless I went with his estimate. After taking X-rays they never once said anything about the infection in one tooth that was hurting. It’s my opinion that he is a bit lazy and doesn’t want to work to hard. I went to a different dentist in Eugene and they did a pano plus X-rays and put me on antibiotics and I have given them my business. It is scarry enough to think about what the next 6 months is going to be, so you want to feel comfortable with your dentist because you’re going to be visiting often.

Dr Lee and staff are the best! They are so friendly and make you feel like you are their only patient

Dr. Lee has been my dentist for several years now. He has helped me with dental issues related to my health and has always been diligent, kind, caring, and professional. He is great at what he does, and I would highly recommend him and his staff for great dental work and wonderful staff. The ceiling tvs are pretty groovy too.

I was nervous about getting a crown but had a great experience with Dr Lee, the shots didn’t hurt at all, no pain during the procedure, just a Great over all experience. I got to watch the Tv on the ceiling while he was working to distract me And it was over before I knew it. His assistant Shania did a great job as well.

Dr. Lee is a very capable and professional dentist. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for my dental work. He does an outstanding job with his work and makes his patients priority. Along with his excellent work, he and his staff are very kind and welcoming.

comments pertaining to the first review left on this site. 1) patient complained about a filling needed to be redone that was not ours. Repeatedly showed evidence proving this, which always resulted in their saying they understand, but then all this is forgotten and needs to be explained again. This is all the work we did on the patient. We told the patient the filling that needed to be redone later (done by someone else) was failing at the first exam and would need to be redone at some point. 2) hygienist did perio treatment which was needed, results were fantastic, and patient happy because we treated and improved periodontal disease. everything turned out great. insurance didn't pay for it. then suddenly we are blamed for everything. we give them a large break on the bill just to be nice. then we are accused of shady billing and negative review. and every time we try to be nice to make everyone happy even though we did everything great, everything we did to be nice is taken as some sort of sign we did something wrong when everything is absolutely the opposite and we're just trying to move forward. Sigh. Sign of the times I guess. if you don't want to pay for something, just make up things that aren't true and keep on repeating until you don't have to pay. Well, happy 2021 everyone. I hope we all try better. At the end of the day, we all live in the same community and we need to be an asset to it instead of an impediment. But even after all this, Dr. Lee likes the patient and continually engages them simply because he just tries to help people and make people happy. Cheers everyone.- Chelsea, OM.

... but sometimes the insurance companies seem to move the goalposts as we proceed. Unfortunately, the financial responsibility will fall upon the patient, although we do our best to try to guess how an insurance will act. And to be honest, more times than not, we help patients financially if insurance companies don't follow through with their promises. I hope both these patients good cheer and hope they will have a happy and healthy 2021. 2020 was difficult and our office went through great challenges, so I guess if the only negatives are a couple totally unfounded reviews, then we all did great. Last year has taught me to value what is truly important. Family, friends, community and God. After being upset told I needed to reschedule yet another appointment because they double booked yet again, I received a letter stating that they were terminating me as a patient. What a poorly run office. Rather than solve their internal problems, they blame the patient and terminate care.

Nice person, not a very good dentist. Shady billing practices. If you’re looking for a quality dental experience, keep looking, you won’t find that here.

Dr. Lee saved a tooth after another dentist recommended removal. His evaluation and presentation of options were professional, competent and had good results. The hygienist he works with is the best I've had in my decade in Lane county; Haley is smart, professional and dedicated to doing the right thing. Dr. Lee is a caring dentist and does great dental work. I have not had any pain when he does dental procedures. He does an excellent job explaining treatment options and helping to get the right solution for my dental needs.

After enduring years of going to a large, impersonal clinic through my employment, it is a pleasure to come here and be treated by such a warm and friendly dentist and staff. The office is clean and charming, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment, and Dr. Lee takes excellent care of my teeth.
