Took my son on 9-23-19 for a knee injury. Dr. Galleno was very rude and short with me. He was unwilling to answer basic questions. Although he did order an MRI for my son he was completely snarky and insulting when I asked for a stat order instead of routine MRi. Which is the difference between waiting between 1-3 days for stat auth or 5-7 business days for a routine. I'm not sure what kind of surgeon he is but it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth when your Dr wont take the time to listen to you or lacks compassion. Took my son on 9-23-19 for a knee injury. I have such respect for Dr. Galleno. His care, talent and demeanor are unique. When the other orthopedic docs can't fix you, make an appointment.

Lacing knowledge on current practices and procedures. Unable/unwilling to answer basic questions. Wants to schedule multiple appointments without any forward progress or benefit to the patient (this could possibly be a medical insurance requirement or a desire to increase office visit fees). Replaced both my 90+ year old mother's hips without any complications. She was back on her feet in 6 weeks without a walker! Good bedside manner.

UPDATE: It has now been almost 8 months since Dr. Galleno operated on me. My arm is completely healed and I have about 95% of my range of motion back. In the strongest possible terms, I recommend Dr. Galleno. -------------------------------------- I fell and fractured my arm right below the shoulder joint about 10 weeks ago. Dr. Galleno operated and put in a metal plate and screws (Open Reduction, Internal Fixation). Dr. Galleno is the best. My arm is mending beautifully. UPDATE: It has now been almost 8 months since Dr. Galleno operated on me. My arm is completely healed and I have about 95% of my range of motion back. Terrible experience. Not qualified in orthopedic medicine. Unable to answer questions about current procedures, etc. Worried about saving money by not providing services.

When asked about information on some of the more modern procedures, he was unknowledgeable and therefore unable to provide information. Lack of knowledge is coupled with a terrible bedside manner.
